Jesus Barros Boquady (Crateús, Ceará, 22 de abril de 1929 — Brasília, 8 de dezembro de 2002) foi um poeta brasileiro. Transferiu-se para Goiás, morando em Filadélfia, Araguacema e Miracema do Tocantins, municípios hoje pertencentes ao estado do Tocantins. Em Miracema, em 1934, começou seus estudos primários. Chegou em Goiânia em 1941, onde bacharelou-se em Direito pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (1954) e licenciou-se em Letras Modernas pela Faculdade de Filosofia (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_Barros_Boquady). Ainda muito jovem, antes, de publicar o seu primeiro livro de poesia - O Cego - 1959, começou suas primeiras pesquisas para o Ensaio (inédito) Introdução à ciência da cachaça. Parte do material da pesquisa foi utilizado para realização do Dicionário de Sinônimos de Cachaça publicado em 2000 pela Editora ABC BSB , na categoria de Médio Dicionário de designações para cachaça. Segundo Anderson Braga Horta, o autor, ...' poeta goiano , dos de maior substância e maturidade....mas acima de tudo homem-no-mundo-entre-homens, dessa vivência & coisas elabora o sumo de uma poesia forte, plena de humanidade, comunicativa e atual' (Romanceiro Goiano -1971). In einer neuen benutzerfreundlichen Art bringt dieses kleine Nachschlagewerk eine Gegenüberstellung der wichtigsten Wörter, die in Portugiesisch und Deutsch in gleicher oder sehr ähnlicher Form vorkommen, sich aber in ihrer Bedeutung deutlich unterscheiden. Wer sich in der jeweils anderen Sprache ausdrückt, neigt dazu, bei solchen Wortpaaren die gleiche Bedeutung wie in der eigenen Sprache anzunehmen, und bedient sich deshalb nicht selten der 'falschen Freunde'. Das vorliegende Buch soll helfen, solche Irrtümer zu vermeiden. Die Darbietung des Stoffes stellt eine didaktische Neuerung dar. Beide Versionen (Portugiesisch-Deutsch und Deutsch-Portugiesisch) sind nicht voneinander getrennt, sondern stehen nebeneinander auf derselben Seite. Durch diese Gegenüberstellung wird ihre gleichzeitige Handhabung ermöglicht. Mit einem Blick erfaßt der Benutzer die semantischen und syntaktischen Unterschiede zwischen den portugiesischen und den deutschen Stichwörtern und kann sie sich so leichter einprägen. Viele illustrierende Satzbeispiele sorgen für das richtige Verständnis. Berücksichtigt wurden auch zahlreiche idiomatische Wendungen, da gerade sie in vielen Fällen das Ausmaß der Bedeutungsunterschiede zwischen den Wörtern in beiden Sprachen erkennen lassen. Diese Sammlung der 'falschen Freunde' soll zur Vermittlung des Portugiesischen in den deutschsprachigen Ländern und des Deutschen in den Ländern portugiesischer Sprache und dadurch zu einem besseren gegenseitigen Verständnis beider Kulturen beitragen.
