Ante la necesidad de continuar perfeccionando la Didactica del Idioma Ingles con Fines Especificos (IFE) a partir de una mayor consideracion del alumno como principal protagonista del proceso de ensenanza- aprendizaje de la Lengua Extranjera, el autor de la presente investigacion, apoyado en concepciones pedagogicas renovadoras, propone centrar el proceso docente- educativo de esta disciplina en el conocimiento y desarrollo de los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes como via para personalizar las influencias educativas y potenciar su formacion integral como futuro profesional. En tal sentido, se asumen los estilos de aprendizaje como criterio vertebrador y dinamizador de los componentes personales y no personales del proceso, presuponiendo no solo el uso del enfoque comunicativo centrado en tareas y el de proyectos, sino tambien la integracion de habilidades linguisticas y habilidades conformadoras del desarrollo personal, todo ello en funcion de tres aprendizajes basicos para la formacion del futuro profesional: aprender a comprender, aprender a organizar el tiempo y aprender a convivir con los demas.

La tesis aborda una propuesta teórico-metodológica que concibe la integración del Enfoque Comunicativo, del Enfoque Histórico-Cultural y de una Didáctica Desarrolladora para el desarrollo del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje del inglés con fines específicos a las Ciencias Médicas en la sala hospitalaria como escenario docente de la actividad docente-asistencial, lo cual contribuye a la formación de los médicos docentes de especialidades clínicas como comunicadores competentes en la lengua inglesa, y donde se le brinda al estudiante de la educación postgraduada una forma de comprensión y actuación en el idioma inglés, y la concientización del cómo operar con las técnicas y procedimientos comunicativos para la obtención del conocimiento científico en la práctica médica. Esta tesis presenta un diseño y fundamentación de esa propuesta, la cual deriva una nueva forma de organización del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje del inglés con fines específicos a las Ciencias Médicas en la educación postgraduada así como la metodología de trabajo para este proceso la cual inserta y promueve la vinculación de las especialidades médicas del área clínica con la enseñanza comunicativa del inglés en función del perfeccionamiento de la disciplina idioma inglés y de prevenir y/o resolver el problema de salud del paciente ingresado.

In Unit Operations, Ian Bogost argues that similar principles underlie both literary theory and computation, proposing a literary-technical theory that can be used to analyze particular videogames. Moreover, this approach can be applied beyond videogames: Bogost suggests that any medium—from videogames to poetry, literature, cinema, or art—can be read as a configurative system of discrete, interlocking units of meaning, and he illustrates this method of analysis with examples from all these fields. The marriage of literary theory and information technology, he argues, will help humanists take technology more seriously and hep technologists better understand software and videogames as cultural artifacts. This approach is especially useful for the comparative analysis of digital and nondigital artifacts and allows scholars from other fields who are interested in studying videogames to avoid the esoteric isolation of "game studies." The richness of Bogost's comparative approach can be seen in his discussions of works by such philosophers and theorists as Plato, Badiou, Zizek, and McLuhan, and in his analysis of numerous videogames including Pong, Half-Life, and Star Wars Galaxies.
