In ihnen kommt sowohl das Weltbild als auch das Selbstverständnis einer Nation zum Ausdruck. Somit ist ein Geschichtsbuch immer ein Zeugnis des Geschichtsverständnisses seiner Zeit. Damit lassen sich Schulbücher hervorragend als Quellen für genau diese Fragestellungen verwenden. Gerade im Fall der Rezeptionsgeschichte stellt ein Schulbuch eine gute Quelle dar, da es einerseits - zwar nicht historisch genau - den Forschungsstand zu einem bestimmten Thema in einer gewissen Zeit widerspiegelt, zugleich aber auch die öffentliche Meinung und Rezeption dokumentiert. Die folgende Hausarbeit versucht, die Rezeptionsgeschichte des deutschen Widerstandes gegen den Nationalsozialismus anhand von Schulbüchern zu erforschen. Die Rezeptionsgeschichte des deutschen Widerstands beschreibt einen langen, zum Teil mühsamen Weg. Es hat lange gedauert, bis allen Widerständlern das ihnen zustehende Maß an Achtung und Ehre in Deutschland entgegenbracht wurde. Ich werde untersuchen, ob sich dieser Weg in Öffentlichkeit und Wissenschaft auch in den Schulbüchern widerspiegelt. Dazu werde ich insgesamt zehn Schulbücher aus verschiedenen Jahrzehnten heranziehen, von den fünfziger Jahren bis in die Gegenwart. Ich beziehe mich dabei nur auf die Rezeption in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, die in der ehemaligen DDR wird ausgeklammert. Ich werde die Darstellung des Widerstands in den Schulbüchern sowohl quantitativ als auch qualitativ untersuchen. Der didaktische Aspekt wird in dieser Arbeit außen vorgelassen. Es geht nicht um die Frage, ob der Stoff didaktisch und methodisch gut aufgearbeitet wird. Vielmehr geht es darum zu fragen, welche Gruppen des Widerstands dargestellt werden, und vor allen Dingen wie.
