Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit nimmt die Problematik der historischen Differenz, also den Zeitabstand, der den Interpreten vom auszulegenden Text trennt, in der Hermeneutik Schleiermachers in den Blick. Schleiermachers Hermeneutik gilt als die wirkmächtige der Romantik. Sie wird als diejenige angesehen, welche die Grundlagen für den Übergang zur modernen Hermeneutik lieferte. Auf Schleiermacher bezogen sich affirmativ oder kritisch unter anderem Wilhelm Dilthey, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Peter Szondi, Karl-Otto Apel und Jürgen Habermas. Schleiermachers Bedeutung für neuere hermeneutische Positionen reicht bis in die heutige Zeit. Diese wird auf der einen Seite durch Schleiermachers hermeneutische Konzepte, also die grammatische und die psychologische Interpretation sowie das komparative und das divinatorische Verfahren, auf der anderen Seite im Vergleich mit Diltheys und Gadamers Hermeneutikonzepten entfaltet. Als Fazit wird ein genereller Zusammenhang zwischen der Vorstellung von Hermeneutik als (un)abschließbarem Verfahren und dem Einbezug historischer Differenz postuliert.

This book, argued from a perspective shaped by postmodernism, is at once an accessible guide to and an engagement with various methods, theories, and critical practices transforming biblical scholarship today. Written by a collective of cutting-edge scholars--with each page the work of multiple hands--The Postmodern Bible deliberately breaks with the individualist model of authorship that has traditionally dominated scholarship in the humanities and is itself an illustration of the postmodern transformation of biblical studies for which it argues. The book introduces, illustrates, and critiques seven prominent strategies of reading. Several of these interpretive strategies--rhetorical criticism, structuralism and narratology, reader-response criticism, and feminist criticism--have been instrumental in the transformation of biblical studies up to now. Many--feminist and womanist criticism, ideological criticism, poststructuralism, and psychoanalytic criticism--hold promise for the continued transformation of these studies in the future.
