Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es nicht nur, einen umfassenden Eindruck von "der Zeit" nach Kant zu vermitteln sondern vor allem darzustellen, warum eine Zeitreise laut Kant nicht möglich sein kann. Dies wird hauptsächlich vor dem Hintergrund seines Werkes "Die Transzendentale Ästhetik" aus "Die Kritik der reinen Vernunft" geschehen, mit besonderem Bezug auf den Abschnitt "Von der Zeit". Die Zeitreise an sich wird natürlich ebenfalls dargestellt um Verwirrungen zu vermeiden und klar zu machen was darunter zu verstehen ist, wenn sich in diesem Text darauf bezogen wird. Um das Problem der Zeitreise noch ein wenig zu erweitern und dem Leser einen umfassenderen Eindruck zu verschaffen, soll außerdem eine weitere naturwissenschaftliche Problematik an selbigem Phänomen aufgezeigt werden.
