Beim Thema Konflikte und Beziehungsstörungen im pädagogischen Praxisfeld wird in der Regel der Fokus auf den "schwierigen" zu Erziehenden gelegt, d.h. auf sein "herausforderndes" Denken und Verhalten. Dies ist aber nur die eine Seite der Medaille. Auch pädagogische Fachkräfte bringen, wenn auch unbewusst, ihren Anteil an Konflikten, die sich stets wiederholen, mit ein. Das Konzept der Persönlichkeitsstile und Störungen, das im sozialpädagogischen und Bildungsbereich völlig unbekannt ist, sowie die Schemapädagogik® können die Selbstwahrnehmung der pädagogischen Fachkräfte im Alltag dahingehend fördern. Ziel ist ein tieferes Verständnis für (unterschwellige) Beziehungsstörungen. Die vorliegende Studie thematisiert pädagogische Fachkräfte, die im Praxisalltag (a) gegenüber ihren Klienten überwiegend kognitiv und extrem disziplinierend auftreten, (b) häufig die "negative" Persönlichkeit des Heranwachsenden thematisieren, (c) das eigene Selbstbild und Handeln unbewusst selbst unterlaufen, (d) den Erziehungs- und Bildungsauftrag "aus unbewusstem Protest" heraus nicht ganz erfüllen; außerdem (e) dreht es sich um übertrieben gefühlskontrollierte Charaktere sowie um radikal "hilfsbedürftige" bzw. "hilfsbereite" Professionelle (sog. Dependente). Ziel ist die Förderung eines psychoanalytischen Verständnisses für die eigene Persönlichkeit, um Beziehungsstörungen, die sich immer wieder wiederholen, letztlich zu verstehen und zu verbessern.
