Jennifer Fechter ruckt mit der rechtlichen Bewertung von Stromgebotszonen sowohl die Etablierung eines einheitlichen europaischen Energiebinnenmarktes als auch den grenzuberschreitenden Stromhandel in den Fokus. Insbesondere uberpruft sie, ob die im Jahr 2002 stattgefundene Grundung der deutsch-sterreichischen Gebotszone und die im Oktober 2018 vorgenommene Auflsung dieser gemeinsamen Gebotszone rechtmsaig gewesen ist. Zudem bewertet sie die CACM-Leitlinie der EU-Kommission, die derzeitige Rechtsgrundlage zur Auflsung der bestehenden Gebotszonenkonfigurationen. Die Autorin geht im Einzelnen darauf ein, welche auf EU-Ebene verfolgten Ziele fur die erhebliche Uberlastung der europaischen Ubertragungs- und Verteilernetze verantwortlich sind und bewertet, ob das Instrument der Gebotszonenkonfiguration auch kunftig in einem einheitlichen europaischen Energiebinnenmarkt geboten ist.
