Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF, Note: 1,3, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Deutsch als Fremdsprache), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dieser Arbeit soll ein Überblick über die Bedeutung und Verwendung von Gestik und Mimik bei der Wortschatzvermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht vermittelt werden. Dabei soll untersucht werden, ob Gestik und Mimik sich auf das nachhaltige Lernen von Wortschatz positiv auswirken, ob sie von den Lehrpersonen im Unterricht bewusst (oder eher unbewusst) eingesetzt werden und ob die Verwendung von Gestik und Mimik sich je nach verschiedenen Faktoren des Fremdsprachenlernens unterscheidet. Als Versuch, die Hypothesen der Arbeit zu belegen, wurde eine intensive empirische Untersuchung mit DaF-Lehrern sowie -Lernern in Indien durchgeführt, bei der der Forschungsgegenstand sowohl aus quantitativen als auch aus qualitativen Forschungsmethoden betrachtet und analysiert wurde und die beiden Ansätze systematisch angewandt und kombiniert wurden. Für die empirische Studie wurden Unterrichtsstunden beobachtet, Tests mit Lernenden durchgeführt, Lehrende und Lernende befragt und Experten interviewt. Die Ergebnisse der durchgeführten Untersuchung belegen zum größten Teil die aufgestellten Hypothesen; es gehen jedoch aus der Studie auch neuere Ergebnisse hervor, die vorher nicht erkannt wurden.

Sprache ist magisch. Dies mag mancher von uns bereits öfter gedacht haben - in welcher Situation auch immer. Und dies ist sie wirklich. Ob wir dabei an die Kommunikation mit anderen Menschen denken, die verbal und ebenso non-verbal erfolgen kann; ob diese in unserer Muttersprache oder in einer oder sogar mehreren Fremdsprachen abläuft. Die Magie der Sprache bezieht sich dabei auch auf ihre Vermittlung, die einen zentralen Gesichtspunkt der Produktivität darstellt. Diese Zusammenhänge und damit verbundene Fragestellungen sind Gegenstand des vorliegenden Bandes. Vor dem beschriebenen Hintergrund behandeln die hier in drei Sprachen - Deutsch, Französisch und Spanisch - veröffentlichten Beiträge beispielsweise neue Entwicklungen zu produktivitätssteigernden Lernerstrategien, zur Wortschatz- und Grammatikvermittlung, zur Förderung der Schreibfertigkeit, zur Fremdsprachenvermittlung durch Kunst, zu sprachpolitischen Fragen und übersetzungswissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen ebenso wie zu derzeit verfügbaren Lernplattformen. Interpersonal communication (IC) is a continuous game between the interacting interactants. It is a give and take - a continuous, dynamic flow that is linguistically realized as discourse as an on-going sequence of interactants' moves. Interpersonal communication is produced and interpreted by acting linguistically, and this makes it a fascinating research area. The handbook, Interpersonal Communication , examines how interactants manage to exchange facts, ideas, views, opinions, beliefs, emotion, etc. by using the linguistic systems and the resources they offer. In interpersonal communication, the fine-tuning of individuals' use of the linguistic resources is continuously probed. The language used in interpersonal communication enhances social relations between interactants and keeps the interaction on the normal track. When interaction gets off the track, linguistic miscommunication may also destroy social relationships. This volume is essentially concerned with this fine-tuning in discourse, and how it is achieved among various interactant groups. The volume departs from the following fundamental questions: How do interpersonal relations manifest themselves in language? What is the role of language in developing and maintaining relationships in interpersonal communication? What types of problems occur in interpersonal communication and what kind of strategies and means are used to solve them? How does linguistically realized interpersonal communication interact with other semiotic modes? Interpersonal communication is seen and researched from the perspective of what is being said or written, and how it is realized in various generic forms. The current research also gives attention to other semiotic modes which interact with the linguistic modes.
