Dies wird mit einem praktischen Beispiel einer Business Transformation Suite (Signavio) untermauert und via skizziertem BPM-GRC-Konzept via SWOT analysiert. Zusätzlich werden weiterführende digitale Technologien (für GRC) der Industrie 4.0 beleuchtet und deren Voraussetzungen für die Implementierung in Unternehmen erforscht. Mit diesen Erkenntnissen und dem dargestellten BPM-GRC-Konzept soll folgende Frage am Ende der Arbeit beantwortet werden: Dient BPM als eine wesentliche Voraussetzung, um die digitale Transformation von Unternehmen und deren Corporate Governance effizient umzusetzen?
