Assim, a presente obra busca detalhar a construção legal, doutrinária e jurisprudencial que permitiu o reconhecimento na esfera jurídica nacional de um direito fundamental à proteção de dados pessoais, identificando os reflexos que a Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) trouxe aos órgãos judiciais na observância de um devido processo informacional para o tratamento transparente destes dados.
