Buku yang merupakan Tesis di SPS UIN Jakarta ini merupakan kajian edisi kritis terhadap naskah Serat Tasawuf (ST) berisi tentang pemikiran etik al-Ghaz±l³ yang diresepsi oleh masyarakat Islam Sunda dengan menggunakan nilai-nilai etik tradisional Sunda buhun yang terekam dalam naskah Sanghyang Siksakandang Karesian (SSK) sebagai tolak ukur. Penelitian ini telah berhasil merekonstruksi teks ST dan mengedisi-kannya sehingga menjadi teks yang otoritatif, bersih dari kesalahan dan serta mudah difahami oleh pembaca. Di samping itu penulis juga berhasil menemukan referensi teks ST dari teks-teks lainnya, sehingga dapat menentukan format teks ST dan menemukan pengaruh pemikiran pihak lain yang terdapat dalam teks ST yang pada akhirnya diperoleh pemahaman tentang bagaimana masyarakat Sunda meresepsi nilai-nilai Etik Islam seperti yang terdapat pada teks ST.

"This thesis is a study of traditional narratives which are recited and received both by villagers and pilgrims in regard to the local pilgrimage (ziarah) tradition in Pamijahan, particularly at Shaykh Abdul Muhyi's sacred site. The narratives will be examined as part of the popular beliefs of Priangan Timur or the eastern part of West Java. Locating them in the wider context of Sundanese oral and written traditions, my investigation will illuminate the nature and function of such traditions in the particular case of Pamijahan. The research will elucidate the role of the kuncen, the custodians of sacred sites, as guides and spiritual brokers who maintain the narratives. It will also be important to investigate the villagers' as well as visitors' view of the kuncen in regard to local pilgrimage. The study will also enhance comparative studies concerned with networks of holy men or saints (wali) on the island of Java (Pemberton 1994; Fox 1991: 20). I want to argue that people respond to, and participate in, saint veneration on pragmatic grounds. However, these grounds are subject to interpretation and contestation in time and space. In redefining their narratives, various individuals, such as custodians, Sufis, and even to some extent government functionaries, are considered to be authoritative persons by virtue of their capacity to conduct and manipulate narratives. Buku ini merupakan kajian kritis terhadap teks Tabyin al-Islah li Murid al-Nikah bi al-Sawab, dengan menggunakan metode landasan. Berdasarkan kajian filologis nin disimpulkan bahwa kedua naskah salinan teks tersebut jika dilihat dari segi struktur ataupun substansi tidak ada perbedaan, namun jika dilihat dari segi ejaan bahasa, kedua naskah tersebu terdapat perbedaan, sehingga menghasilkan bacaan yang berbeda. Perbedaan bacaan tersebut disebabkan oleh kelalaian ataupun ketidaktahuan si penyalian. Kesimpulan buku ini menguatkan Teeuw (1984) bahwa sebuah teks ketika ditransmisikan atau diturunkan, baik secara vertikal maupun horisontal mengalami suatu perubahan atau penyimpangan sehingga melahirkan teks-teks varian. Munculnya perubahan dan penyimpangan ini tidak terbatas pada teks yang diturunkan secara lisan, melainkan juga pada teks yang diturunkan secara tulisan dalam bentuk naskah salinan. Hal senada disampaikan West (1973) bahwa naskah salinan suatu teks, belum tentu merupakan salinan yang otentik dan sempurna dari naskah aslinya, walaupun perbedaan tidak sampai pada hal-hal yang prinsipil, namun itu tetap menimbulkan naskah yang berbeda bacaannya. Dilihat dari isi, buku ini menjelaskan tentang hukum keluarga Islam yang terdiri dari hukum nikah, rukun nikah, syarat wali nikah, syarat adil bagi wali dan saksi nikah yang adil, perempuan yang haram dinikahi, keseimbangan dalam perkawinan, walimah, pembagian bagi istri dan nushuz, khulu’, talak, ila’, zihar, qadaf dan li’an, iddah perempuan istibra’, nafkah pada kerabat, serta hadanah.

We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the 2nd Konferensi BIPA Tahunan (Ke-BIPA-an) conducted by Postgraduate Program of Javanese Literature and Language Education in collaboration with Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Lecturers (Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia/ADOBSI). The technical program of the 2nd KEBIPAAN 2020 consisted of 56 articles. The scopes of the conference were Indonesian language for foreign speaker’s needs, curriculum development, learning strategies, evaluations, contribution of language, literature, and cultural. Aside from the high quality technical paper presentations, the technical program also featured three keynote speakers as invited talk and technical workshops. The five keynote speakers were Liliana Muliastuti, Petra Adamkove, Muhammad Rohmadi, Ku Ares Tawandorloh, and Kundharu Saddhono. The 2nd KEBIPAAN 2019 workshop aimed to address the new dimension of analyzed Indonesian language for foreign speakers needs, curriculum development, learning strategies, evaluations, contribution of language, literature, and cultural in the critical thinking through academic writing methodologies and approaches. Moreover, the workshop aimed to gain insights key challenges, understanding, and design criteria of employing technologies to improve cultural services and applications. Coordination with the steering chairs was the key for the success of the workshop. We sincerely appreciate their constant support and guidance. It was also a great pleasure to work with such excellent committee for the hard work in organizing and supporting the conference. In particular, the Technical Program Committee have completed the peer-review process of technical papers and made a high-quality technical program. We are also grateful to all team for the hard and smart work in supporting the event and to all authors who submitted their papers in the 2nd KEBIPAAN 2019 and conference.
