Il Progetto Diverse ha lo scopo di promuovere le capacità degli insegnanti di gestire le diversità in classe attraverso metodi basati sullo storytelling (teatro scolastico, miti e tradizioni popolari, digital storytelling). L'obiettivo principale del progetto è quello di migliorare la gestione delle diversità a scuola, soprattutto nelle classi multiculturali con un notevole numero di studenti con bisogni educativi speciali, in particolare con svantaggio linguistico e culturale. Per "digital storytelling" ci si riferisce alla realizzazione di storie che includono elementi multimediali come fotografie, video, suoni, testi e voci narranti. Il digital storytelling si applica nella didattica in numerosi contesti.Il Teatro didattico, noto anche come Creative Drama o Process Drama, è una metodologia pedagogica che cerca un equilibrio tra la forma e il contenuto dell'opera e dell'atto teatrale. Il progetto Diverse utilizza come punto di partenza anche i Racconti Popolari legati alla tradizione orale della cultura degli studenti con bes linguistico culturale; progettando diverse attività ad essi collegati.
