I wanted to gist of different writers in the globe and my own experiences in different places regarding social dogma, in various aspect and appeal to repeal the text which are wrong in the present situation of the world order. There is nothing wrong to say that everything in this world is changing nothing is fixed and nothing is immoveable in this universe. We have seen in the name of religion, 30 lakhs people killed in 1971 in Bangladesh freedom wars. More than 2 lakhs women or girls raped, and this was declared by then Shaik Mujib PM of that country. I don’t think British has killed so many people in their nearly 200 years being administrators. Few days back Shaikh Hassina PM of Bangladesh has asked fundamentalist that God is there to punish if anyone do any sin and those who believe in God should, must not take weapons in their own hand to punish anybody in the name of God. If they do so that means they have no faith in God.

Drawing on a wide range of archives, historical publications, oral history, graphic, audiovisual and web sources, Geert Castryck presents Kigoma-Ujiji as both shaping and being shaped by global transformations. On the surface, the book offers almost two centuries of urban history on Lake Tanganyika in western Tanzania, close to the Burundian and Congolese borders, in a place that has been a transport hub throughout that time. Beneath the surface, it is also about major transformations on a global scale, and about people dealing with and coping with these global challenges far from the supposed global powerhouses. Urbanization and infrastructure, colonization and decolonization, liberalization and democratization, war refugees, world heritage and translocal identities are the entry points for interpreting transformations that are local and global at the same time. The author uses the analytical categories of "liminal space" and "portal of globalization" to link the marginality and uncertainty that characterize the successive transformations in Kigoma-Ujiji with the urban resilience and creativity used to manage these transformations.

Effective governance is typified by transparency, accountability, credibility, and stability of the governing body, as well as by the cooperative partnership of public sector, private sector, and civil society. In Africa today, good governance is central to the achievement of sustainable and equitable development. But Africa is rapidly urbanizing. Urban authorities must deal with the uncontrolled and unplanned movement of rural dwellers into the large urban centers, and the environmental "monster" it is creating: rampant urban waste, much of it toxic. Managing the Monster critically examines urban governance in Africa, with particular reference to the serious problems and challenges posed by waste management. It describes, compares, and appraises the situations in Abidjan, Dar es Salaam, Ibadan, and Johannesburg, characterizing typical forms of governance and their successes and failures in dealing with the critical problem of mounting urban waste. It will interest researchers, academics, and students in African studies and urban planning; donor organizations worldwide working on urban issues; policy makers, municipal engineers, city managers, and urban planners, especially in Africa; and environmental and civic NGOs.

The African Liberation Struggle written by Godfrey Mwakikagile and has been published by Intercontinental Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-05-06 with History categories.
This work focuses on the liberation struggle from the 1960s to the 1990s in the countries of southern Africa to end white minority rule. The author writes from personal experience. When the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) was formed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in May 1963, Tanganyika (now Tanzania) was chosen to be the headquarters of the OAU Liberation Committee. All the African liberation movements went on to open their offices in Tanzania's capital Dar es Salaam. Many refugees fleeing oppression in the countries of southern Africa also went to live in Tanzania. The author was a young news reporter in Dar es Salaam in the early seventies and got the chance to know some of the freedom fighters and their leaders who were based there during those days. He also interviewed a number of them and has provided an additional perspective to his work as a primary source of some of the material included in his book. It was one of the most important periods in the history of post-colonial Africa. Most countries on the continent had won independence by 1968. The toughest struggle was in the few strongholds of white minority rule in the southern part of the continent and in the Portuguese colony of Guinea-Bissau/Cape Verde in West Africa which finally ended in victory. As President Nyerere once said: "Throughout history, nationalist struggles have had one end: victory."
