Oggi è il tempo di annunziare le verità della dottrina con modo nuovo capace di intelligenza con la modernità. Giovanni XXIII indisse il Concilio Vaticano II, Papa Francesco ha indetto il sinodo sulla famiglia che, in profonda crisi sociale e spirituale, impone una sfida alla missione evangelizzatrice della Chiesa. La condizione dei divorziati risposati, ancorché normativata sul piano civile, è inaccettata in ambito religioso. Un disallineamento che nel sociale rianima riserve e condanne antiche, e in ambito religioso genera un forte disagio fra i fedeli perché c’è chi è manifestamente escluso dalla pienezza ecclesiale. Per questi peccatori pare non ci sia alcuna assoluzione possibile, a meno che non si ricorra al tribunale rotale che presume l’oggettivazione degli affetti, che è argomento sempre difficile e di machiavellica sincerità. Il confronto sinodale tra i sostenitori della dottrina di sempre che ritengono insanabile questa condizione, e chi ricerca vie possibili per riammettere alla grazia dei sacramenti i divorziati risposati, è ancora in atto e deve trovare una conclusione nella sessione ordinaria del sinodo che si terrà in questo prossimo ottobre. Ai dotti padri religiosi che disquisiscono con grande professionalità, poco o niente può suggerire il fedele semplice divorziato e risposato che, da parte sua, non chiede trenta denari di assoluzione, ma il rispettoso ascolto del suo travaglio. Errori e contraddizioni marcano la vita degli uomini e delle istituzioni che lo guidano, gli esiti delle azioni di ciascuno possono non essere quelli attesi e desiderati, ma mai deve essere negata la possibilità di una ripresa anche là dove non è possibile tornare indietro. Non è nel potere dell’uomo ridare la vita, che comunque espressa è sempre sacra, una volta che la ha soppressa, ma chi ravveduto si pone a proteggerla e ne riscopre il pieno valore non può essere abbandonato a sé e privato di ogni speranza di salvezza. Il messaggio evangelico è questo e a leggere Marco, Matteo e Luca, non sembra proprio che esistano steccati che distinguano definitivamente chi sta dentro il recinto e chi ne sta fuori. Questo pare essere veramente la scelta cui la Chiesa cattolica è chiamata.
