Das Buch hilft Einsteigern und Fortgeschrittenen auf rund 260 Seiten, den Phantom 4 mit all seinen Funktionen zu verstehen und damit richtig und verantwortungsvoll zu fliegen. Das Thema Drohnen-Gefahr ist nicht umsonst immer wieder mit negativen Schlagzeilen in den Medien vertreten. Das liegt in der Regel nicht an böswilligen Menschen, die damit bewusst gegen Regeln verstoßen, sondern meist daran, dass die Regeln nicht bekannt sind. Darüber hinaus erklärt es Anfängern im Drohnenfliegen, die aber bereits gute Film- oder Fotografie-Kenntnisse besitzen, wie sie mit einer fliegenden Kamera umgehen. Die Perspektive einer Kameradrohne ist eine völlig andere, als eine Kamera auf einem Stativ oder in der Hand. Sie eröffnet Möglichkeiten, die vielen oft nicht bewusst sind, verleitet jedoch dazu, einiges falsch zu machen. Dabei ist nicht zu unterschätzen, dass neben den Aufnahmen auch noch eine Drohne zu fliegen ist. Zwei Kapitel mit Grundlagen zum Fotografieren und Filmen verhelfen Einsteigern in Film und Fotografie schnell und zuverlässig zu guten Ergebnissen. Typische Fehler, die schnell zur Gewohnheit werden, lassen sich damit leicht vermeiden.
