The first step in the fight for equality is to correctly identify the causes of the inequality and by making the fight always women vs men rather than everyone against discrimination we have in many cases not yet taken this first step. Both men and women suffer from and are also beneficiaries of gender discrimination. Both men and women must give up a lot to attain equality but the advantages of true equality far outweigh the losses. Men, women and also children would gain enormously from true equality making it something we should all be fighting for together.
