Poucos são os textos que tratam do Registo Civil, da Identidade Civil e da Nacionalidade. Além disso, algumas confusões se difundiram no tocante á vulgar noção de identificação civil - e dos documentos que a visam comprovar -, com o essencial conceito de identidade civil.
