A little-known society of the Lakota tribe developed the skill to dream about the future. It was accepted that dreams could not necessarily bring about what a person wanted, but that they could be used to inform upon the future and protect people from harm. Despite the societys secrecy, however, a man named Conley is aware of it, thanks to his Lakota grandmother. At least, he is sure that if he dreams of something, it is bound to come true, one way or another. Upon receiving a letter from his Grandma Violet announcing a visit, Conley suspects she has something important to tell himmaybe even something about their family history. Soon, he experiences a recurring dream about a Native American woman who looks like his grandma. Coaxed by this dream and his grandmothers visit, Conley realizes he must go to South Dakota and search for his spirit guide. Once there, Conley experiences a vision quest that allows him to better understand his skill. His dreams soon turn dark and dangerous, though, and he fears for those closest to him. Danger lingers nearby, and Conley must do all he can to prevent harm from spreading. He hopes to use his dreams to fight back, with the help of his spirit guide, but he must find the right cluesotherwise, Conley could end up dead.

Success does not happen by luck or chance: It is premeditated. That is why you must dream with your eyes open, which is what A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the former president of India, was getting at when he famously said, Dreams are not those that we see in our sleep; they should be the ones that never let us sleep. In this guide to knowing yourself and achieving success, youll discover how to live a life filled with purpose. Youll learn why: knowing yourself is the secret to living a life of abundance; prioritizing how you spend time is paramount to achieving success; and developing good habits allows you to capitalize on opportunities. Youll also get insights from dream walkers such as Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich; marketing guru Seth Godin; Col. Harland Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken; author and political activist Helen Keller; and many others. To change your life, you must act with awareness. Tap your unlimited potential, and unleash the power of your mind with the lessons in The Dream Walker.

When Dreamwalker, shaman of the Eagle Peoples voices a timeless prophecy he sets in motion a chain of catastrophic events. Not only did his prophecy herald the historic New Madrid earthquake of 1812 but he predicts a second quake which will result in an intercontinental realignment of the earth's crust. Over the years Dreamwalker's descendants have settled along the volatile New Madrid fault zone. Now, his descendants must escape the area to avoid the coming devastation. A freak asteroid enters the atmosphere and interrupts all satellite communications, destroying the information highway. If the dreamwalkers are to survive the coming destruction they must find a way to reunite the four families and unlock the clues hidden in the prophecy before 'the day of the black suns'. This saga tells of their perilous trek through the earthquake ravaged countryside to the safety of the Canadian mountain retreat of the Eagle Peoples. 'Baz' (short for Strange Bastard) Beachum is an ex-combat pilot and a descendent of Dreamwalker. The fates have gifted Baz with the ability to walk through time during his dreams. Baz considers the dreamwalking a curse until he inherits an ancient artifact that unravels an old Indian prophecy. The ancient artifact leads him to beautiful Naan Beauchamplet, an emissary chosen to guide the dreamwalkers to the safety of the mountain encampment. Together they fly across the countryside looking for the remnants of the Eagle Peoples. Hank and Bo'gard Chapel are longtime tugboat captains. Accompanied by their family they attempt to navigate up the Mississippi River to the Canadian border. But calamity strikes in the form of a strong earthquake and Hank's tugboat breaks up on the banks of the river. Even worse Bo'gard's tugboat is forced over a sixty foot waterfall spontaneously created by the quake. Railroad-man King Chaplet must break his younger brother out of jail before he and his three siblings can make their way north on a stolen locomotive. Along the way they are joined by seismologist Dillon Sparks, two old out-laws and a kaleidoscope of other characters. Together this rag-tag clan will come together in their struggle to reach the safety of the Eagle Peoples encampment.

Part thrilling sci-fi adventure, part historical fiction, Earth’s Harmony is an endlessly imaginative tale from the creative mind of debut author Geoffrey Currens. In the near future, perhaps tomorrow, humanity receives a message from deep space in an alien language—a distress call, along with a set of blueprints. Two generations later, Earth is growing increasingly barren; animals are becoming scarce, and lakes are drying up. Nonetheless, as the distress called warned, alien attackers arrive at Earth seeking the one resource remaining worth harvesting: human slaves. Due in no small part to the efforts of pilot Byron “Cowboy” Carruthers and his ace gunner, Jim, the alien attack is fought off, but one ship manages to escape through a vortex into the past, where the alien could potentially take over the Earth and bring about a horrific future. Cowboy and Jim must pursue the alien through the vortex aboard the result of the blueprints received in the distress call so long ago—a telepathic ship they name “Mother.” Cowboy and Jim thus end up in the Devil’s Lake area of North Dakota in 1889, where awaiting them is the harsh prairie winter, an Indigenous man named Dreamwalker whose knowledge and collection of animals may prove pivotal to their mission, and a romance that will test Cowboy’s resolve to not make any ripples in time. Can they stop the alien—and their own actions—from destroying Earth’s chance at a future?

What is a Dreamwalker? They are the rare few who, as Mary Summer Rain describes them, are "led by the spirit, ' have "shed the yoke of desire and self-want," and have discarded the need for material gain and all evidence of negative thought. Without any personal goals, they travel the path of knowledge and go where the spirit of truth leads them. Brian Many Heart, also a student of No-Eyes, returns to No-Eyes' cabin in the Colorado mountains to teach Mary Summer Rain the "magic" and power of the Dreamwalker. Together, under No-Eyes' close scrutiny, they explore the realms of the spirit, and deal with Summer Rain's many unanswered questions about her identity and her resistance to what is referred to as her "spiritual obligation" to deal with wayward spirits (which she would explore later in Phantoms Afoot).
