" What started as a slight speech problem, was quickly followed by some motoric difficulties and by the time Alexander was five years of age, it was obvious he had a learning difficulty. By the age of seven he was formally diagnosed as being deeply dyslexic and I was strongly advised to place Alexander in a boarding-school for Dyslexics.
