Each One a Minister, a revised and enlarged edition of Carter's previous book by the same title, begins with a 6-session study of Ephesians. Carter engages the reader in discovering the meaning of church, ministry, and gifts from the early church up to the present. As a follow-up to the Bible study, readers and study groups look at ways in which God's gifts are practical as well as spiritual. Four ministry categories, closely connected to the congregational primary task (receive, relate, equip, send), are identified. Scripture readings, activities, and ways to implement specific ministries are suggested. Designed to encourage individuals to discover God's call to ministry in their own lives, Each One a Minister leads toward practical ways of using gifts in ministries in our congregations and in our communities. An ideal resource for clergy, lay leaders, study groups, and others seeking to identify and use their gifts in meaningful ways. Discover Your Spiritual Gifts Leader's Guide is also available.

Titles and talents are NOT prerequisites for service. Each believer is uniquely and individually gifted by God and has the capacity and capability to minister to others. Jesus Christ in His mandate to the His followers said go ye; there are no special titles or designations tied to this mandate other that those who believe, Mark 16:14-20. The main objective of this book is to encourage each believer to recognize the platform God has given them to accomplish the Great Commission. This platform may be a career, vocation, business, home environment or department in a church. This platform is what I refer to as your pulpit. Each believer has one. Once you have recognized your pulpit, I discuss how both natural gifts, talents and spiritual gifts can be applied collectively to minister to others. The harvest is still plenteous. Having been already empowered by Jesus, let us join together in gathering the harvest. Go ahead and minister wherever you are!

The Christian experience is a challenge to be all one can be in the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit continually molds and fashions his chosen vessels into manifesting the nature and works as Jesus. All believers are ministers and stewards of God's grace. We bring glory to God as we recognize and obey the Holy Spirit's prompting within us. Age, gender, education, family status and cultural differences are immaterial to Him in selecting ministers. He works through personalities that are devoted, committed, and have faith in Him. Signs, wonders and miracles are increasingly evident in these end times and God is anointing ordinary, consecrated members in the body of Christ to minister healing, deliverance, restoration and salvation to hurting, wounded, insecure and lost souls everywhere. God delights in us and is depending on each believer to take courage and go forth in ministry for His Glory. This book will challenge you in becoming a partner with God transforming lives for His kingdom. Mary H. God has given each and every one of us one or more gifts. God has also called all men to come to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. And there are those who have responded to the general call to His Household, who have special callings of God on their lives. And the Word says, "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold Grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to Whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen" (1 Pet. 4:10-11).

God will not trust any of us with all the gifts and abilities required for all round victory; this will breed destructive pride. God does not only want us to depend on Him, but also to depend on one another. We are created to compliment one another. The Bible says clearly that as each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God (1Peter 4:10). This book shows you why and how to start prayer partnerships. Prayer partnership is not only for young believers; many mature intercessors and fronline ministers have been saved from costly mistakes and death by the revelations and inputs of their prayer partners. Every pastor or frontline minister needs personal intercessors, or a team, working closely with them. This book discusses the raising and operations of personal intercessors and how to do team ministry. The present spiritual landscape is difficult for lone-rangers to survive for too long; it takes common sense and humility to accept that you need help. This book discusses team ministry, with testimonies; and with details on church/land deliverance. The Church will gain huge victory when pastors and leaders would stop fighting one another and employ networking as a compulsory option in spiritual warfare. The author shares deep revelations on the principles of networking. Every intercessor or minister needs to read this book!!!

Perfecting Training written by Witness Lee and has been published by Living Stream Ministry this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1990-06-01 with Religion categories.

According to [Ephesians 4:11-16], we are first told that the gifts were given: 'And He gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers.' This is the initial step; then the result is unto the work of the ministry, that is, unto the building up of the Body of Christ. How could the Body be built up? By the growth in life. Then out of the growth in life the function will come, the operation in measure of each one part, to cause the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love. Thus, there is the initial stage and then there is the result. Between these two ends is the perfecting of the saints. If there is no perfecting of the saints, all the gifts given by the Head become vain. Also, there will be nothing to cause the growth of the Body in life that functions may come out to build up the Body in love. The crucial and central point in this portion of the Word is the perfecting of the saints. Throughout the past years the Lord has been leading us in the ministry to perfect the saints for the growth in life so that the functions may come out to build up the Body in love.

Your Reasonable Service written by Thomas E. Rush and has been published by WestBow Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-04-27 with Religion categories.

The purpose of Your Reasonable Service is to bring clarification to the issue of spiritual gifts. A number of important questions about the subject are answered, founded in an honest attempt to discover what the Bible says about the gifts. How many spiritual gifts are there? How do I discover my gift? Can I have more than one gift? Should I have all the gifts? Can I have all the gifts? How can I most effectively use my gifts? Do my personality traits or natural human abilities have any bearing on my giftedness? What is the purpose of spiritual gifts? How can I know how other Christians are gifted, and what does that mean for me? What impact does a proper biblical understanding of the gifts have on the local church? If the purpose is to bring clarification, the goal is to provide a tool that pastors, churches, and laypersons can use to determine God's design for their service to the Lord. One area of the Holy Spirit's work that surely needs emphasis in the church today is the work that God desires to do through His church by the exercise of the spiritual gifts given to each and every saint. The bottom-line objective is to help each believer, each church member, discover their Holy Spirit-given motivation for ministry. That motivation is your spiritual gift. A great motto for a church would be, "Every member a minister." Of course, for that to happen, the pastor and membership would need to get serious about understanding and discovering the spiritual gifts of each member. I believe that any Bible-believing church would find the results of such an effort to be a tremendous blessing.
