Echoes and Memories and Night Air is a newly updated and expanded poetry collection previously published as Landslide. This is a collection of poems recalling the love I have given freely to the few who actually mattered. Three different men managed to break down the walls around my tightly defended heart, at different moments of my life, for different reasons. There was Autumn, a man who taught me about passion and need and that excitement that every woman wants. Spring taught me the opposite; getting to know someone deeply, not physically, sharing likes and dislikes, discussing literature and culture, connecting on an intellectual level. And then there was Winter, a man who with little words and equally little time, managed to accomplish what Autumn and Spring could not. And in losing Winter, I was able to find myself in Summer.

John O'Donohue won hundreds of thousands of admirers with his now classic work on Celtic spirituality, Anam Cara. Just as To Bless the Space Between Us was being published, he died suddenly at the age of fifty-two. His powerfully wise and lyrical voice is profoundly missed, but his many readers are now given a special opportunity to revisit John in his first book, a collection of poetry. O'Donohue's readers know him as both a spiritual guide and a poet. In the same spirit as his bestselling works, readers will be inspired yet again by John's depth of wisdom and artistry.

What if memories never die? An evocative Australian YA novel about family, place, and how history has a way of weaving itself into our present. What if memories never die? When fifteen-year-old Will is sent away to stay with his grandparents in rural New South Wales, he finds the isolated farm strangely familiar; except the memories he’s channelling are not his own. But whose are they? And why does his grandfather share the same haunting link? As two stories unfold, nearly 200 years apart, two boys exiled to what feels like the end of the earth struggle to find their identities and voices in the face of abandonment and tragedy. A page-turning YA novel that explores the darker moments of our convict past and how they resonate today.

This study examines tales from The Metamorphoses by the Roman poet Ovid (43 BC-18 AD) and from The Lais by the French poet Marie de France (fl. mid-to late twelfth century) to explore a paradox: how can a vibrant, complex, and timeless vision be conveyed in convention-informed and time-bound language? Marie plays against Ovid’s tales to probe the dilemma, thereby echoing Ovid who does the same to the canonical literary monuments of his day. Both poets suggest that poetry can avoid the flattening effect of monumental canonizing not only by the creative use of literary echoes, but also by shifting perspectives on the conventional, which in turn, can encourage readers to see reflections of many stories in any given tale. Ovid and Marie suggest and encourage in this manner by presenting literary love’s topoi and traditional lovers from a variety of metaliterary perspectives, thereby eliciting active readerly memory as well as providing the opportunity to see the conventional afresh, activity that allows even canonical texts to become living memorials.

SPACE ... once believed to be a vast and vacant void, has been found, in fact, to be filled with all sorts of things - things that roam freely and at random. Our little spaceship Earth is no longer as secure as we once thought it to be. There are clouds of dust and gas so hot that their mere passing would scour our little system of planets with a breath of death and destruction complete. Clouds so massive that just their passing could throw all our little planets from of their peaceful orbits into the deep cold of a sunless darkness and fling our star out and on its way to being one of the eternal roamers of our galaxy, or even throw it into an intergalactic journey to who-knows-where? Black holes; blazars; blasts of deadly radiation from nearby super-novae; stars; burned out hulks of stars; super-dense neutron stars; rocks (small or incredibly large), and a host of other things - none of them welcome visitors. IN THIS INCREDIBLE, SWEEPING SAGA across thousands of years and hundreds of light years we come face to face with our fears and deep prejudices. It is here, in SEEDS OF MEMORY, that we get an idea of what it means to be "HUMAN" and what "HUMAN" really means. It is here, in SEEDS OF MEMORY, that we are confronted with the need to know colliding head-on with reality. Are we, HOMO SAPIENS SAPIENS, truly the only form that humans can take, and is our history the only history? Might there not be others, or others created out of the very stuff of life who are, after all, our brothers and sisters - kith and kin. In this story we find that the lines that divide have indistinct, fuzzy edges, and that we are the ones who make those divisions. Here we discover humanity at its magnificent best, its seething worst, and everything imaginable between, while we make an uncertain attempt to reunite two peoples separated by time and space...and other things... One of those unwelcome visitors has arrived and we are pitifully unprepared. This is a speculative look into a far-flung future disaster that could actually happen (and well might, someday) and how the human species reacts to it. It could even be said that it is a look at a future history - a history we might not be able to survive.

Echo Episode Two of The OtherLand Chronicles A Novella of 100 pages. Forbidden and Irresistible 17-year-old Alia, a street-smart recent Brooklynite, was disdainful of the warnings to stay in after dark in her new suburban neighborhood. What could possibly be lurking in the tidy greenways between the upscale houses? But girls are showing up dead of mysterious causes, and she finds herself being drawn into a hidden and compelling world, with the mysterious Bartholomew at the heart. There is an undeniable, powerful --and forbidden --attraction between Alia and Bartholomew, prompted by music, woven into a kiss. The pair find themselves becoming more and more entwined, and the situation among the Others is growing more unstable. Although she knows she's being drawn too far into the world of the Others, she cannot resist the lure of the GodSong, or Bartholomew, even when she might lose everything, including her life.
