Un’opera lungamente meditata dal talentuoso Francesco Russo Spena in cui niente è lasciato al caso. Francesco Russo Spena nasce nel 1987 in provincia di Napoli. Dopo il Liceo linguistico frequenta la facoltà di Lingue e Letterature europee all’università L’Orientale di Napoli. Dall’indole introversa e solitaria, fin dalla prima infanzia mostra un forte impulso alla scrittura. Inizia ad avvicinarsi alla scrittura leggendo fumetti, poi racconti e romanzi di avventura per adolescenti. Dopo l’università, oltre alla letteratura si interessa alla storia, l’astronomia, la paleontologia e la musica (studiando batteria). Nel 2009 pubblica il suo primo libro, un saggio dal titolo: 100 motivi per abbandonare l’Italia, a cui segue nel 2014 una raccolta di pensieri dal titolo: Espressionismo, ma il suo interesse primario resta la fantascienza. Attualmente, vive all’interno dei suoi romanzi.

Completate le medie, abbandona il seminario, e con la famiglia si trasferisce a Siracusa, dove completa gli studi conseguendo il diploma di perito meccanico. Trova lavoro come operaio e poi come tecnico progettista. Nel 1980 vince un concorso all’Enel, dove completa la carriera fino alla pensione come tecnico esperto nelle centrali idroelettriche. In pensione, per un anno, va in Sierra Leone a supervisionare l’avvio di una centrale idroelettrica. Grande amatore di racconti di fantascienza, toccato nell’animo dalla conoscenza delle condizioni di vita africane e del suo paese, ha voluto cimentarsi nella scrittura del racconto L’Umanità nella Galassia, dove oltre la fantasia, mette in campo le sue idee politiche e morali per rendere la società attuale a misura d’uomo.
