Adam and Eve were not the only ones to be created and cast out by God. 13 lived together in Eden and all were banished for eating the forbidden fruit, unknowingly gifted with an extended life. An immortal life. Still, it didn't take long for their treason to be discovered. The punishment for disobeying and as a price for their stolen immortality, was to work off their debt by fighting on the side of good; so they became warriors. But before Eve could be released, chaos broke out, turning dwellers against each other and leaving them divided when she could finally return home.

You will be the first to venture into the Dark and the first to discover the truth about Eden. Mother of Eden Generations after the break up of the human family of Eden, the Johnfolk emphasise knowledge and innovation, the Davidfolk tradition and cohesion. Both claim to be the favoured children of a long-dead woman from Earth known as Gela, the mother of them all. When Starlight Brooking meets a strange, powerful man, she believes he will offer an outlet for her ambition and energy. But she has no idea that she will be a stand-in for Gela herself. And she has no idea of the enemies she will make, no inkling that a time will come when she, like John Redlantern, will choose to kill... Daughter of Eden A dangerous era has dawned for Eden. After generations of division and disagreement, the two populations of Eden have finally broken their tentative peace, giving way to bloodshed and slaughter. Angie Redlantern must flee withher family to the place where it all started, the stone circle where the people from Earth first landed, where the story of Gela - the mother of them all - began. It is there that Angie witnesses the most extraordinary event, one that will change the history of Eden forever. It will alter their future and re-shape their past. It is both a beginning and an ending.

Eden S Endemics written by Elizabeth Callaway and has been published by University of Virginia Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-08-04 with Literary Criticism categories.

In the past thirty years biodiversity has become one of the central organizing principles through which we understand the nonhuman environment. Its deceptively simple definition as the variation among living organisms masks its status as a hotly contested term both within the sciences and more broadly. In Eden’s Endemics, Elizabeth Callaway looks to cultural objects—novels, memoirs, databases, visualizations, and poetry— that depict many species at once to consider the question of how we narrate organisms in their multiplicity. Touching on topics ranging from seed banks to science fiction to bird-watching, Callaway argues that there is no set, generally accepted way to measure biodiversity. Westerners tend to conceptualize it according to one or more of an array of tropes rooted in colonial history such as the Lost Eden, Noah’s Ark, and Tree-of-Life imagery. These conceptualizations affect what kinds of biodiversities are prioritized for protection. While using biodiversity as a way to talk about the world aims to highlight what is most valued in nature, it can produce narratives that reinforce certain power differentials—with real-life consequences for conservation projects. Thus the choices made when portraying biodiversity impact what is visible, what is visceral, and what is unquestioned common sense about the patterns of life on Earth.

From the author of the bestselling ESCAPING FROM EDEN. Do our world mythologies convey our ancestors' ideas about God? Or are they in reality ancestral memories of extra-terrestrial contact? How do ancient stories of contact, adaptation and abduction relate to people's experiences around the world today? The Scars of Eden will take you around the world to hear first-hand from ancestral voices alongside contemporary experiencers and world-renowned researchers. Recent revelations from US Navy, the Pentagon, and French Intelligence bring the reader right up to date in examining what has been forgotten and remembered, hidden and disclosed. If world mythologies, including the Bible, have confused the idea of God with ancient ET visitations, what difference does it make? How does it impact society today? And why is this cultural taboo so widespread and, for the author, so personal?
