Peristiwa ekonomi yang terjadi pun tidak luput dari kebenaran yang disampaikan Allah SWT dalam firman-Nya “Telah nampak kerusakan di darat dan di laut disebabkan perbuatan tangan manusia, supaya Allah merasakan kepada mereka sebagian dari (akibat) perbuatan mereka, agar mereka kembali ke jalan yang benar” (QS. Ar-Rum: 41). Fenomena tersebut tldak hanya berlaku untuk kejadian alam semata, namun juga berlaku untuk kehidupan sosial antar makhluk hidup, salah satunya di bidang ekonomi, yang memperlihatkan bagaimana manusia mengikuti hawa nafsu sehingga bersifat serakah yang akhirnya menciptakan berbagai bentuk ketidakadilan sosial dan ekonomi. Sebagai Buku Ajar, buku ini menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dlpahami oleh mahaslswa ekonomi secara umum. Buku ini berusaha membahas mengenai kondisi Slstem Ekonomi Saat Ini, dilanjutkan pembahasan terkait apa itu Sistem Ekonomi Islami, dan bagaimana Konsep Ekonomi Makro Islami dari berbagai ahli.
