El conjunto de estudios que ofrecemos es una representación de los generados en torno al Corpus PAAU 1992. Desde los inicios del proyecto se tuvo muy en cuenta la homogeneidad del conjunto de datos para que su estudio fuera útil y no pudiera cuestionarse el valor representativo del corpus. \n\nSu desarrollo obligó al equipo que lo compone a interesarse por ciertos aspectos normativos, por las características de textos específicos, por los estudios sobre gramática y discurso, por el cálculo de frecuencias de vocabulario, por las herramientas informáticas para el tratamiento de las lenguas, por la historia y la teoría de la educación en niveles de Enseñanza Secundaria, y a seguir otras líneas de investigación que persiguen objetivos relacionados; es decir, forzó a ser interdisciplinarios, como en general exige todo lo aplicado. \n\nEn este volumen se intenta responder principalmente a cuestiones lingüísticas concretas sobre el uso escrito académico en lengua española tal como se encuentra al final del Bachillerato.\n \nIncluye CD con material anexo.\n

El Instituto Cervantes ha celebrado, en el año 2009, sus primeros dieciocho años como institución pública al frente de la promoción y el uso internacional del español, y de la difusión de la cultura en lengua española, así como de las otras lenguas de España, en el exterior.
