El libro articula diferentes artículos elaborados por autoras y autores de distintas disciplinas de las ciencias sociales, pero que comparten una mirada crítica a los procesos que aquí tratamos. Los textos abordan el análisis de estrategias específicas que nos permiten arrojar luz sobre los mecanismos que concretizan los procesos de despojo de los recursos naturales en América Latina, y sus efectos en la acumulación de capital. Así, el libro que presentamos tiene como finalidad renovar y no dejar de lado el análisis conceptual sobre la apropiación capitalista de los recursos naturales y algunas de sus concreciones. Al mismo tiempo no abandonamos el compromiso político que supone abordar estos temas, y buscamos debatir las posibilidades para cambiar la forma de acceder a los recursos naturales e ir construyendo alternativas más justas para la reproducción social.
