¿Cómo eran los partidos políticos que componían la izquierda radical española durante los últimos años del franquismo? ¿Quiénes eran, cómo y qué significaban aquellos grupos que, teniendo influencia sindical y capacidad para movilizar, solo tuvieron una corta vida política y se disolvieron en la mayor parte de los casos? Esta segunda edición ampliada y actualizada describe los orígenes, ideología e historia de estos grupos que terminarían por constituirse en partidos políticos y que llegaron a alcanzar un techo máximo de alrededor de quinientos mil votos en las elecciones legislativas de 1979, aunque sin conseguir en ningún caso representación parlamentaria.
