Karabatak Beş Yaşında “Ötesini Söylemeyeceğim” şiirinde Sezai Karakoç on yaşında bir çocuğun ağzından Tunus’u işgal eden sömürgecilere karşı hakikatin sesini yükseltiyordu: “Sizin defolup gitmenizi istiyorum işte o kadar / Ali de istiyor ama söylemekten çekiniyor / Hâlbuki siz insanı öldürmezsiniz değil mi…” Son cümle bir soru cümlesi değil. Çocuktan veriyor haberi Karakoç: Emperyalistler öldürür. İnsanlığın düşmanıdır emperyalizm. Başkasının ekmeğini çalmakla kalmaz bir de öldürür onu. Bununla da yetinmez kendisini sevmemizi ister. Dahası başarır da bunu, içimizden âşıklar yaratır kendisine; ne söylese inanacak, ne yapsa mazur görecek âşıklar… İnsanın safında olmayan sözün edebi değerinden söz edilemez. Bu yüzden söz sahiplerine düşen, insanın yanında yerini almak ve hakikati söylemektir. “Ötesini Söylemeyeceğim” diyordu on yaşındaki Tunuslu çocuk. Ötesi söylenemeyecek kadar insanlık dışıydı çünkü. Otuzuncu sayısıyla Karabatak beş yılını geride bırakmış bulunuyor. Bir çocuk diyebiliriz ona.
