Encontros em Musicoterapia: Temas em Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão - volume 2 tem como objetivo dar continuidade à divulgação de trabalhos desenvolvidos por docentes, discentes, egressos e parceiros do curso de Graduação em Musicoterapia da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Enquanto o primeiro volume foi permeado de desafios do contexto pandêmico, o segundo volume foi escrito em meio ao retorno às atividades presenciais. Vimos a necessidade de recriar rotinas de vida, de trabalho, de pesquisa e, principalmente, fomos atravessados por temas emergentes, que nos levaram a dar voz às diversidades e às pluralidades de pessoas atendidas por musicoterapeutas, em settings variados. Neste volume são traçados diálogos da musicoterapia com as seguintes temáticas: roda de tambores, gerontologia, educação, análise do comportamento aplicada, seleção de pessoas, Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, cuidados paliativos, pessoas queer e heteronormatividade. Desejamos a todos uma boa leitura e que as ações de ensino, extensão e pesquisa aqui apresentadas possam esclarecer as possibilidades de atuação do musicoterapeuta, bem como inspirar profissionais e estudantes, expandindo os horizontes desta profissão. Que estes conteúdos encontrem ressonâncias e dissonâncias em seus caminhos! Como afirma o poeta Fabrício Garcia (2023), "o encontro modifica o caminho".

É com muito prazer que apresentamos o livro Encontros em Musicoterapia: Temas em Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão, organizado pelas docentes do Curso de Graduação em Musicoterapia da Universidade Federal de Goiás. Em comemoração aos 22 anos do curso, foram selecionados dez trabalhos desenvolvidos em ações de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, e cada um deles se transformou em um capítulo escrito em coautoria com profissionais egressos do curso. O fator propulsor dessa iniciativa foi a comemoração desse aniversário e a motivação para registrar os caminhos percorridos pela musicoterapia em Goiás. Destacamos ainda a escrita no contexto pandêmico, a qual trouxe o desafio de realizar todo o processo no ambiente virtual. Apesar das dificuldades, o uso adequado da internet tornou-se essencial e proporcionou o rompimento de barreiras geográficas e reencontros com egressos. Este livro aborda a atuação musicoterapêutica em diferentes áreas, possibilitando um olhar amplo acerca da Musicoterapia em Goiás e perspectivas para outros estados brasileiros. Esperamos que os conhecimentos aqui apresentados contribuam para o crescimento da profissão e, em breve, novos encontros em musicoterapia!
