Inhaltsangabe:Zusammenfassung: Der Anteil von Frauen in Führungspositionen ist im Garten- und Landschaftsbau, wie im Bauwesen allgemein, noch sehr gering. Zwar sind in der Branche viele Ressentiments gegenüber weiblichen Führungskräften anzutreffen, aber viele Beispiele belegen, dass Frauen erfolgreich ein eigenes Unternehmen gründen oder als Mitarbeiterin wesentlich zum wirtschaftlichen Erfolg eines Unternehmens beitragen können. Aufgabe dieser Diplomarbeit war es, die gegenwärtige Situation von weiblichen Führungskräften im Garten- und Landschaftsbau darzustellen und dann zu ermitteln, auf welche Faktoren sie ihren Erfolg zurückführen können. Es sollte untersucht werden, welche Frauen es sind, die in diesem Beruf als Führungskräfte beschäftigt sind; welche Eigenschaften und Kompetenzen sie besitzen und welche Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse besonders wichtig sind, um in der männerdominierten Branche Fuß zu fassen. Das Ziel der Arbeit war es, möglichst authentische Antworten zu einem breiten Spektrum ausgesuchter Fragen zu erhalten. Aus diesem Grund wurde ein Fragebogen entwickelt und an Frauen in leitenden Positionen im Garten- und Landschaftsbau versendet. Erforscht werden sollte mit diesem Fragebogen unter anderem, welche Aufgaben die Frauen ausführen, wie das Verhalten gegenüber den Männern ist und ob Frauen neue Aspekte und Tätigkeitsfelder mit in die Branche bringen. Ein weiteres Thema war der Umgang mit Mitarbeitern und Kunden, verknüpft mit der Frage nach dem persönlichen Führungsstil und der Akzeptanz als Frau. Auch der Bereich Beruf und Familie wird in dem Fragebogen abgehandelt. Es wird untersucht, ob Führungskräfte in dieser Branche Familie haben, ob es sich mit dem Beruf vereinbaren lässt und welche Rolle der Partner in diesem Zusammenhang spielt. Wichtig ist auch zu erfahren, in wieweit die Frauen glücklich sind in ihrem Beruf und was sie für Ziele und Wünsche für die Zukunft haben. Nachdem jede Frage im Fragebogen (insgesamt 34 Fragen) einzeln ausgewertet worden ist, werden die Erfolgsfaktoren als Konsequenzen aus den Antworten herausgearbeitet. Als Ergebnis der Arbeit werden zehn Erfolgsfaktoren beschrieben, die in berufsspezifische, führungsspezifische und persönliche Qualitäten aufgegliedert sind.
