La experiencia diaria en las aulas y los resultados de las encuestas, entrevistas, observaciones a clases y diversas investigaciones confirman que entre las grandes tareas que demanda la educación cubana está la atención especial al desarrollo de la construcción del texto escrito. Por ello, para dar cumplimiento al objetivo de la investigación y solucionar el problema científico, se ofrece como resultado investigativo una estrategia metodológica para desarrollar la competencia comunicativa en la producción de textos escritos, en los estudiantes de primer año de la Facultad de Cultura Física. En el proceso investigativo se utilizaron métodos y técnicas del nivel teórico y empírico, los que permitieron realizar el diagnóstico y obtener la información necesaria para el estudio, la fundamentación y el diseño de la estrategia metodológica. Se exponen los fundamentos teóricos generales para la enseñanza - aprendizaje de la expresión escrita y para la elaboración de la estrategia metodológica que contiene tres etapas y acciones con vistas a que los estudiantes de primer año de la carrera de Cultura Física, perfeccionen su competencia comunicativa en la producción de textos escritos.

En el presente trabajo se aborda el proceso de formacion de habilidades linguisticas en los estudiantes de la carrera Comunicacion Social, este tema reviste importancia significativa en la Universalizacion de la ensenanza universitaria. La estrategia esta validada por el criterio de especialistas los cuales opinan que constituye una via para el perfeccionamiento de dicho proceso desde el punto de vista teorico y practico por lo que puede ser aplicada."
