La revista leonesa Claraboya (1963-1968) fue uno de los proyectos poéticos más importantes desarrollados en la década de los años sesenta, no sólo por la categoría de sus cuatro promotores principales (Agustín Delgado, Luis Mateo Díez, José Antonio Llamas y Ángel Fierro), sino también por la calidad de sus colaboradores (Vicente Aleixandre, Claudio Rodríguez, Antonio Gamoneda, Diego Jesús Jiménez, Pedro Gimferrer, Guillermo Carnero, José-Miguel Ullán, Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, etc.). Claraboya se convirtió en la publicación poética juvenil más importante de los años sesenta, propugnando desde sus páginas una poesía crítica (poesía dialéctica) que enlazaba con el marxismo dialéctico, superando los estrechos márgenes del realismo social precedente. A través de las páginas de Claraboya pueden verse los tanteos estilísticos de los diferentes grupos poéticos de la generación del 68, que se reparten un campo mucho más rico que el que años más tarde se empeñaría en representar José María Castellet en su antología Nueve novísimos poetas españoles. Cuando en 1970 apareció la antología de Castellet, los miembros del Equipo Claraboya constituyeron un frente de resistencia al esteticismo novísimo que se continúo a lo largo de la década desde diversas trincheras: Equipo Claraboya. Teoría y poemas (1971), Parnasillo provincial de poetas apócrifos (1975) y Las cenizas del Fénix, de Sabino Ordás (1985). La revista Claraboya (1963-1968): un episodio fundamental en la renovación poética de los años sesenta no sólo atiende por extenso al estudio de la publicación periódica, sino también a la polémica que sus miembros establecen con los novísimos castelletianos, y a las importantes secuelas que se derivaron de la propuestas estéticas claraboyistas en la década siguiente. El estudio se completa con una amplia antología de poemas, que muestran tanto las diversas corrientes estéticas que se manifiestan en la revista, como el desarrollo poético posterior de sus cuatro impulsores
