In der Theologie ist der Organisationsbegriff bislang kaum aufgenommen worden. Dem will der vorliegende, dezidiert interdisziplinar angelegte Band begegnen. Er zeigt: Phanomene und Funktionen von Religion und Moral lassen sich mit Hilfe des Organisationsbegriffs scharfer fassen und praziser abgrenzen. Zugleich kann der Begriff genutzt werden, um widerstandige Aspekte, die nicht verrechenbaren Eigenlogiken religioser und ethischer Phanomene zu identifizieren. Der aus einer Vorlesungsreihe an der Universitat Gottingen hervorgegangene Band ist fur alle von Interesse, die fur die Organisation von Religion und Ethik Verantwortung tragen und die sich mit dem Strukturwandel der christlichen Kirchen befassen. Stefan Grotefeld, PD Dr. theol. , Jahrgang 1965, ist seit 2001 Oberassistent am Institut fur Sozialethik der Universitat Zurich.
