Wissenschaftlicher Aufsatz aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Theologie - Praktische Theologie, Note: Keine, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Viele Gespräche mit den unterschiedlichsten Gesprächspartnern hatten immer wieder die Frage nach dem Verfall der christlich-ethischen Werte zum Inhalt. Einerseits wurde der Verfall oder die immer größer werdende Bedeutungslosigkeit ethischer Wertvorstellungen beklagt, andererseits wurde den Kirchen das Recht auf eine Mitsprache abgesprochen. Gerade junge Menschen machten dabei immer wieder deutlich, dass sie bei den aktuellen, eben diskutierten Problemen über ihr Leben, ihren Körper und ihr Tun selbst und autonom entscheiden wollten und kein Anderer das Recht hätte, sich bei diesen Entscheidungsprozessen "einzumischen". Besonders deutlich wurde mir das bei Schülern und Konfirmanden, die doch ihre Selbstständigkeit und Eigenverantwortung einklagten, aber auf Grund von Wissenslücken dann in Bedrängnis kamen, echte Entscheidungen in Verantwortung überhaupt treffen zu können. Darum sich beschäftigt dieses Buch mit der aktuellen Problematik der Organspende und dem Organspendeausweis, sowie mit der Palliativmedizin und der Sterbehilfe. Dabei rückt für mich die Fragestellung, wie ich als Christ denn mit einer solchen Problematik umgehe deutlich in den Fokus meiner Überlegungen und thematischen Auseinandersetzungen. Nach meiner persönlichen Einschätzung ist es notwendig, sich gezielt mit diesen Fragen intensiv zu beschäftigen um sich ganz klar positionierenzu können. Dieses Buch erhebt dabei nicht den Anspruch auf medizinische Vollkommenheit im Blick auf alle Aspekten und Perspektiven, denn ich bin mir sehr wohl im Klaren darüber, dass ich nicht alle psychologischen Facetten beleuchtet und nicht alle sozialen und soziologischen Aspekt behandelt habe oder sie nur ganz kurz und stichwortartig angerissen wurden.
