Genuine and intrepid scholar, Colombo continues bringing us the knowledge possessed only by an elite over the Earth. Now he fearlessly answers the question of why intolerance, hatred, and genocide characterize our modern world. Scholars have failed to find the cause because they have been unable to engage in a critical examination of monotheism. The majority of Western people think that the Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – are superior to other religions and even represent an advancement beyond “primitive” polytheism. Why have the Abrahamic religions caused more human sacrifice than any other religious system in human history, and have people overlooked it? In this marvelous journey you will come to understand how destructive the Abrahamic religions are. This book will change your mind and life forever. Life, Prosperity, and Health!

In the few years since the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, evil has become a central theme in the media and human consciousness: the evil of terrorism, the evil of secular culture, concern for poverty, and climate change... Yet different cultures and religious traditions have different ideas of what evil is and what its root causes are. Although there is no massive clash of cultures, many disagreements and also conflicts in the world arise from the deep differences in views of evil. This volume explores religious views of evil. Scholars from different religions and from various parts of the world describe how people probe the depths of evil—and by necessity that of good—from their own background in various worldviews. In their explorations, almost all address the need to go beyond morality, and beyond legalistic definitions of evil and of good. They point to the radical depths of evil in the world and in human society and reinforce our intuition that there is no easy solution. But if we can gain a better understanding of what people from other worldview traditions and cultures consider evil, we are that much closer to a more peaceful world.

Unmasking Religion written by Evans Anderson and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-12-02 with categories.

In Unmasking Religion: The Origins and the Perpetuation, Evans critically examines why we are so strongly attached to our religious believes. He argues that we tend to subconsciously develop mental models that categorise the things we are exposed to as being right, true or good. The models tend to categorise the things we are not exposed to as wrong, false or bad. Such models develop unconsciously from childhood and once formed, biases us and controls us such that we are incapable of critically examining their categorizations to ascertain their truthfulness or accuracy. Such models develop for many things and ideas in our environment including the food we prefer, the spouse we prefer, the type of marriage, the type of burial, the types of drinks, the type of clothes we prefer to wear, our political inclinations and even our religious believes. As an example, people who grow up in an environment where snake meat is a delicacy will have a mental model that categorises eating snakes as good. While people who do not grow up in such an environment will have a mental model that categorises eating of snakes as evil or bad. The same applies to religious believes. They are nothing more than mental models that categorise the religious ideas that we have been constantly exposed to as being true.

Evil Incarnate written by David Frankfurter and has been published by Princeton University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006 with History categories.

In the 1980s, America was gripped by widespread panics about Satanic cults. Conspiracy theories abounded about groups who were allegedly abusing children in day-care centers, impregnating girls for infant sacrifice, brainwashing adults, and even controlling the highest levels of government. As historian of religions David Frankfurter listened to these sinister theories, it occurred to him how strikingly similar they were to those that swept parts of the early Christian world, early modern Europe, and postcolonial Africa. He began to investigate the social and psychological patterns that give rise to these myths. Thus was born Evil Incarnate, a riveting analysis of the mythology of evilconspiracy. The first work to provide an in-depth analysis of the topic, the book uses anthropology, the history of religion, sociology, and psychoanalytic theory, to answer the questions "What causes people collectively to envision evil and seek to exterminate it?" and "Why does the representation of evil recur in such typical patterns?" Frankfurter guides the reader through such diverse subjects as witch-hunting, the origins of demonology, cannibalism, and the rumors of Jewish ritual murder, demonstrating how societies have long expanded upon their fears of such atrocities to address a collective anxiety. Thus, he maintains, panics over modern-day infant sacrifice are really not so different from rumors about early Christians engaging in infant feasts during the second and third centuries in Rome. In Evil Incarnate, Frankfurter deepens historical awareness that stories of Satanic atrocities are both inventions of the mind and perennial phenomena, not authentic criminal events. True evil, as he so artfully demonstrates, is not something organized and corrupting, but rather a social construction that inspires people to brutal acts in the name of moral order.
