Doch wie denken Schülerinnen und Schüler bereits in jungen Jahren, wie in der Grundschulzeit, über den Ursprung der Welt und des Menschen? Kinder machen sich Gedanken über die Entstehung der Erde sowie der Menschheit und bilden individuelle Weltbilder. Diese Erkenntnisse sind wichtig, um meine Frage eines interdisziplinären Spannungsfeldes im katholischen Religionsunterricht zu beantworten. Durch die immer stärker werdende Hervorhebung der Evolutionstheorie rückt die biblische Schöpfung und somit eine der Grundmanifeste des christlichen Glaubens zunehmend in den Hintergrund. Es stellt sich die Frage, welche Konsequenz besonders das Denken von Grundschülerinnen und Grundschüler über die Evolution und Schöpfung für den katholischen Religionsunterricht mit sich bringt. Liegt hier vielleicht sogar ein interdisziplinäres Spannungsfeld im katholischen Religionsunterricht vor? In meiner Arbeit möchte ich genau diesen Fragen nach dem interdisziplinären und somit fächerübergreifendem Spannungsfeld im katholischen Religionsunterricht, sowie dem Denken von Grundschülerinnen und Grundschülern im Hinblick auf die Evolution und Schöpfung genauer nachgehen. Um dem Leser den Inhalt transparent zu machen, erfolgen im ersten Abschnitt wichtige Welterklärungsmodelle, welche die verschiedenen Ansätze und Vorstellungen über die Entstehung der Welt und des Menschen versuchen zu verdeutlichen. Im ersten Block des zweiten Kapitels werde ich dabei zuerst auf die theologische Perspektive genauer eingehen. Da die Schöpfung die ältere Theorie ist, beginne ich mit ihr. Im zweiten Block des zweiten Kapitels gehen ich schließlich auf die naturwissenschaftliche Perspektive ein.[...]

This volume brings together key findings of the long-term research project ‘Religious Individualisation in Historical Perspective’ (Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, Erfurt University). Combining a wide range of disciplinary approaches, methods and theories, the volume assembles over 50 contributions that explore and compare processes of religious individualisation in different religious environments and historical periods, in particular in Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe from antiquity to the recent past. Contrary to standard theories of modernisation, which tend to regard religious individualisation as a specifically modern or early modern as well as an essentially Western or Christian phenomenon, the chapters reveal processes of religious individualisation in a large variety of non-Western and pre-modern scenarios. Furthermore, the volume challenges prevalent views that regard religions primarily as collective phenomena and provides nuanced perspectives on the appropriation of religious agency, the pluralisation of religious options, dynamics of de-traditionalisation and privatisation, the development of elaborated notions of the self, the facilitation of religious deviance, and on the notion of dividuality.
