El presente manuscrito parte de un proyecto macro denominado “Estrategia psicosocial: adolescentes escolarizados potencializando el emprendimiento juvenil para la prevención de problemáticas juveniles en busca del bienestar psicológico, social y subjetivo en la ciudad de Ibagué”, se divulga desde el construccionismo social de cómo abordar las problemáticas actuales del municipio que aquejan a este grupo en situación de vulnerabilidad. A partir de investigaciones previas, nació este proyecto que por metodología tiene un enfoque mixto de tipo investigación acción y un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La muestra poblacional fueron estudiantes de ambos géneros entre los 15 y 18 años del grado 10o en una institución educativa pública. Además, en esta investigación se utilizaron instrumentos cuantitativos como el pretest y postest, escala de BIEPS-J, ficha sociodemográfica, escala de competencias sociolaborales, e instrumentos cualitativos como talleres en los cuales se evidencia la participación de la red de apoyo de diferentes instituciones y profesionales en el área del emprendimiento, quienes aportaron al fortalecimiento de las competencias emprendedoras. Como resultado, se logró impactar en las categorías de proyecto de vida y competencias sociolaborales, comprobando la importancia de la formación y competencias en referencia las establecidas por el Ministerio de Educación, las dimensiones propias del grupo de investigación, para concluir con éxito en los adolescentes como cogestores del proceso de fortalecimiento de bienestar psicológico, social, subjetivo, y por ende, el apoyo en la disminución de las problemáticas juveniles.

Based on twenty case studies of universities worldwide, and on a survey administered to leaders in 101 universities, this open access book shows that, amidst the significant challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, universities found ways to engage with schools to support them in sustaining educational opportunity. In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach
