La estrategia está demostrando tener una vital importancia en el fútbol actual, dada la gran igualdad que preside el mismo, y que trae como consecuencia la gran complejidad de hacer gol a través del juego dinámico. La importancia de la misma es tal, que además de demostrar tener una gran relevancia en el resultado final del partido (un elevado porcentaje de los goles se consiguen a través de la estrategia) es capaz de modificar los planteamientos tácticos de los equipos, y permitir que conjuntos inferiores igualen e incluso superen a conjuntos superiores, a través de su mayor dominio del juego a balón parado. Del análisis de estos aspectos, debemos sacar como conclusión que en los entrenamientos tenemos que otorgarle un gran protagonismo al entrenamiento tanto de la estrategia ofensiva como defensiva. Este libro pretende servir de ayuda a entrenadores, monitores, estudiosos del fútbol y aficionados.
