Justin Anderson is on one of the best dates of his life. The woman is funny, beautiful, charming, and intelligent. Her bright smile indicates that she's having a good time, too. Something tells him that she could be the one... Rebecca Campbell hasn't dated much since her divorce, but she's glad she said yes to Justin. He's as different from her ex-husband as night and day. Moving back to her hometown is feeling more and more like the smartest decision she's ever made. She's finally living life on her own terms. Unfortunately, the beautiful evening comes to a crashing halt before Justin can end their date with a small taste of her soft lips. A crowd has gathered on the sidewalk in front of Rebecca's building. Apparently, someone has fallen from the high-rise structure and died. What is even more bizarre is that they find the police have taped off the front door of her apartment. When they learn that the male subject fell from Rebecca's personal balcony, Justin can't help but wonder if she might have been the intended target. There are so many questions and few answers. What was he doing there? And what if Rebecca had been home, too? He can't simply sit on the sidelines when someone he cares about might be in danger. And he's beginning to care a whole lot for this woman.

The Danger Of Falling Into The Hands Of The Living God written by Matthew Mead and has been published by Puritan Publications this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-06-13 with Religion categories.

In this convicting work directed to increase a healthy fear of the Living God to Christians, Mead works from Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.” Mead teaches in what sense God is the living God, and what it means to “fall into the hands” of this God who lives. Every sinner (redeemed, or remaining in unbelief) will ultimately stand in judgment before the Living God, and will have to deal with God both necessarily and everlastingly. Necessarily, as God requires an account of their life, and everlastingly, where the final state of the sinner will be determined. Mead demonstrates that having such a healthy fear of falling into God’s hands is evidenced from that terror which sinners themselves many times feel under the sense of God’s wrath in this world. Men must be saved by Christ to escape the dreadful judgment that accompanies unbelief when they fall into the hands of the Living God. This union with Christ, God’s only Redeemer, is such a union as that by it, a man’s state is fundamentally changed, so that he is no longer a child of wrath. It is a union fixed in the blessed state of justification, and the forgiveness of sins. By virtue of this union, he has a right to all the blessings of the covenant. This is what gives Christians great boldness in the day of judgment to stand before the Living God in whom hands they are judged. This is not a scan or facsimile, has been updated in modern English for easy reading and has an active table of contents for electronic versions.

Christians often focus on the attacks that are being waged from outside their churches, while things that happen within the body of Christ that can damage our churches are forgotten. You have heard the expression, The best way to destroy a country is from within. This same principle also applies to the church. In Danger Zone: Falling from Within, author and evangelist Casey Johnson discusses the subtle but dangerous trends that harm the church. He issues a wakeup call for Christians to open their eyes and notice the subtle dangers within the Church. Johnson considers five areas of danger: changing the character of God, reducing the depth of preaching, minimizing the Gospel, choosing the wrong church leaders, and stealing the Great Commission. If there ever was a time for the church to rise up, it is now. Christians cannot become so self-centered that they try to make every part of church about themselves. If the local church continues to practice many of these dangers, it can slowly become a place where we worship ourselves instead of God. You can only lead in the direction you are going. -Hunter Johnson

A journalist stumbles onto the story of a lifetime. And finds herself falling in danger... When young, naive reporter Jessica Brady is kidnapped and held for ransom by the head of an illegal dog fighting organization, undercover police officer Ian Cole realizes he's got his hands full. He's on the verge of busting the ring when he's assigned to babysit her, which isn't an easy feat. She's neurotic, feisty, and also happens to be scared to death of dogs. Now he has to figure out a way to get them both out alive. Jessica has no idea the thug she's becoming attracted to is actually a cop, but it's clear he's not like the rest of the men in the organization. Particularly Albert Mancini, the disturbed only son of the ring boss, who has an appetite for alcohol and women. Especially Jessica. When Ian's cover is blown, he's forced to bust the ring early. Weeks later, Jessica can't stop thinking about the experience that has changed her forever. She wonders about the tall, sexy detective who saved her life. And the mobster's prize-winning pit bull, Bruta. An idea for a story is born. What if these dogs were given a second chance at life? As Jessica digs deeper into their troubled world, she ends up falling for the police officer who rescued them. And discovers layers of her heart she never knew existed. But when Albert escapes from jail, her happiness turns to terror. He hasn't forgotten about the detective who put him behind bars. Or the beautiful young woman whose every move has become his obsession. Content Warning: Contains sensual sex and explicit language
