Si nota spesso un materialismo-nichilista così presente nella visione della realtà di molti giovani. Quel modo di vedere il mondo e la vita che ormai diviene colonna sonora (Vasco?) che colora lo sguardo delle giovani generazioni davanti alle domande della vita. La risposta si gioca in queste tensioni. E il disorientamento, con poche o nessuna certezza, di Giovanni, Claudia, Stefano o Sara, nel pieno dell'adolescenza, sono un urlo assordante. Ma assumendo pienamente questo disagio, fin nella sua profondità, non è forse possibile scovarne una domanda di senso che il cristianesimo può intercettare? Friedrich Nietzsche, con l'annuncio della morte di Dio, ha tentato di mostrare come le concezioni antiche metafisiche e religiose, soprattutto cristiane, non avessero alcun senso nel tentativo di svuotare il mondo di qua in favore di un mondo che sta di là. La soluzione per andare oltre questi nichilismi, fasulli o deboli, è l'oltreuomo e la fedeltà alla terra. Fedeltà al dato materiale che porta oltre l'uomo stesso. Questa è la chiave perché l'uomo si realizzi nell'oltreuomo secondo Nietzsche. Ma non materialismo.E questa è la chiave con cui Fabrice Hadjadj, filosofo contemporaneo francese, prova a spiegare nei suoi testi, a partire dalla propria esperienza personale, la possibilità che il cristiano sia la realizzazione dell'oltre nichilismo offerto da Nietzsche. Nel lavoro che segue, con un metodo tutt'altro che analitico, ma più vicino alla letteratura filosofica, si tenterà di mostrare i punti salienti di questi passaggi. Nel parallelismo tra Nietzsche e Hadjadj, al di là della distanza temporale, si notano come il modo di procedere del ragionamento siano simili, come il pensiero dell'uno si innesti sull'altro, dialoghino e su molti passaggi trovino le stesse lunghezze d'onda. In una forma che strizza l'occhio al lettore nel tentativo di offrirgli assaggi di filosofia e di pensiero con una certa leggerezza, si snodano i capitoli del lavoro. Il punto cruciale della ricerca è concentrata nel terzo capitolo. La fedeltà alla terra, tanto desiderata e auspicata da Nietzsche, si svela come apertura al sovrasensibile e al trascendente nel pensiero di Hadjadj. È proprio nel profondo della terra che si scoprono i cieli e solo grazie alla fedeltà al dato concreto c'è una fedeltà anche a ciò che lo trascende. Ma non lo nega. Fedeltà al dato per un essere umano significa corpo, morte, sessualità... Un'antropologia dall'incedere logico che si apre al Dio cristiano nel ragionamento stringente e logico. In quest'ottica Hadjadj constata come, in fondo, il Dio cristiano abbia ben chiaro il valore della carne e del corpo. Il mistero dell'Incarnazione dice proprio questo: la salvezza arriva grazie alla carne. Dio assume l'umanità attraverso la carne. La fedeltà alla terra di Nietzsche offre una via verso Dio.Questa intuizione di Hadjadj diventa apertura ad una interpretazione nuova del messaggio dell'oltreuomo e offre nuove risposte ai quesiti della contemporaneità. E diviene la possibilità concreta che il cristianesimo ha per intercettare le domande di senso dei giovani e dell'uomo di oggi. Adolescenti compresi. Visto però da dove si riscoprono, forse vale la pena dire che sono risposte vecchie come il mondo. Una nota stilistica: la forma del volume che richiama un "quadernone" e lo stile del carattere utilizzato, quello standard delle stampe casalinghe a computer, sono voluti per ricordare che il lavoro che si ha tra le mani è un primo approccio, un assaggio, quasi una serie di appunti su cui si può ulteriormente scrivere, lavorare e annotare riguardo Hadjadj e le riflessioni che nascono leggendo i suoi lavori. Non tema, il lettore, di sgualcire, sottolineare, cerchiare, aggiungere, chiosare...

This book looks into Banti’s stance on Italian feminism, with a specific focus on her interpretation of the concept of “equality” as well as of “sexual difference”. An analysis of a novel, A Piercing Cry (1981), and two short stories, The Women Are Dying (1951) and Je vous écris d’un pays lointain (1971), explores the aforementioned issues. The book also deals to some extent with the most famous of Banti’s works, the magnum opus Artemisia (1947). Because A Piercing Cry is a source of autobiographical elements, which therefore are particularly significant, the conclusions drawn from this novel are later applied to The Women Are Dying and Je vous écris d’un pays lointain. Certainly, A Piercing Cry expresses Banti’s faith in difference as being that which can preserve woman’s identity. By declaring “I am a woman writer”, she distances herself from a feminism of equality that, not without oscillations, she had supported throughout Artemisia. In so doing, she embraces a feminism of difference by adopting this concept herself. Drawing on these considerations, the book argues that in both The Women Are Dying, and in Je vous écris d’un pays lointain, Banti intended to support a personally elaborated and ante-litteram “feminism of difference”.
