Il libro tratta i Fondamenti dell’Elettrotecnica ed è rivolto agli studenti ed alle persone che intendono conoscere ed apprendere le basi dei principi fisici che determinano il comportamento degli elementi circuitali ed il funzionamento delle apparecchiature e delle reti elettriche. L’analisi dei campi permette la definizione dei bipoli resistore, condensatore ed induttore; le rispettive equazioni caratteristiche, tra tensione ai morsetti e corrente circolante, permettono la risoluzione delle reti elettriche in qualsiasi regime di funzionamento. Il testo prende in esame anche i circuiti magnetici, il regime sinusoidale ed i sistemi trifase, introducendo esempi e concetti applicativi concreti (come, per esempio, i circuiti risonanti, il campo magnetico rotante, l’inserzione Aron, ecc.) che stanno alla base del funzionamento delle varie applicazioni elettriche, che sono contemplate nel testo complementare “Fondamenti di Macchine e Impianti Elettrici”. Gli argomenti dei campi e delle reti elettriche sono trattati in maniera sinergica, per cercare di esporre gli argomenti dell’Elettrotecnica generale con una panoramica sintetica e completa, allo stesso tempo.
