She’ll protect her baby, no matter the cost… If she could turn back time, Sarah Colvert would only change one thing. Her son’s father would know he exists. Almost six years have passed, and she hasn’t forgotten about the love of her life. Every day she looks into those same eyes, the ones her son inherited. The ache in her heart has been growing, but now she has the ranch back, horses to rescue, and her baby’s daddy back in town. She can't risk losing it again. His love blinded him. When Michael spots her for the first time since that summer, Sarah is every bit as pretty as she was back then. No, not pretty. Beautiful. But Sarah's a single mother and no matter who the father of Sarah’s child is, this cowboy wants another chance. He's a better veterinarian than a boyfriend, avoiding relationships for years. Convincing Sarah to let him be a part of her life again, starting with the rescue horses, will take time and trust. But the truth has been there in front of him all this time. Will a seven-dollar rescue horse be enough to reunite this family? Forgotten Reins is the first novel in the Silver Wind Equine Rescue Romance series. It’s a sweet inspirational romance with a guaranteed happily ever after. Enjoy!

The Scottish Highlands meet The Bachelorette in this new historical romance from Allison Butler... Heiress of clan Gordon, Mairi has been given a gift: the choice of her husband. Her father has found three worthy suitors and each is coming to the Keep. She will spend time with every man and make her decision. But love is not a luxury Mairi allows herself: she is driven by duty, driven by the memory of the failure eleven years earlier that cost her father everything. She will choose a worthy husband, one who will serve the clan wisely, and take nothing for herself – especially not the dark–haired stranger tasked with her protection while she makes her decision. Lowlander Duff may not know his origins, but he knows how to wield his sword. Granted one year's leave from his duties to the Elliot Clan, Duff travels to the Highlands in search of his past. Instead he finds an arrogant beauty in need of rescue. Impressing her father, the head of clan Gordon, he is named her temporary protector and must keep her safe as she is courted by three potential husbands. What Duff doesn't expect is the low hum of jealousy and the rising wave of attraction that makes protecting Mairi easy, but keeping his distance impossible. Allison Butler kicks off a brand new Scottish Historical series with brave lowland warriors, spirited highland brides, and what exactly goes on underneath those kilts.

Free Rein written by Andrä Breton and has been published by U of Nebraska Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1995-01-01 with Literary Criticism categories.

Free Rein is a gathering of seminal essays by Andri Breton, the foremost figure among the French surrealists. Written between 1936 and 1952, they include addresses, manifestoes, prefaces, exhibition pamphlets, and theoretical, polemical, and lyrical essays. Together they display the full span of Breton's preoccupations, his abiding faith in the early principles of surrealism, and the changing orientations, in light of crucial events of those years, of the surrealist movement within which he remained the leading force. Having broken decisively with Marxism in the mid-1930s, Breton repeatedly addresses the horrors of the Stalinist regime (which denounced him during the Moscow trials of 1936). He argues for the autonomy of art and poetry and condemns the subservience to "revolutionary" aims exemplified by socialist realism. Other articles reflect on aesthetic issues, cinema, music, and education and provide detailed meditations on the literary, artistic, and philosophical topics for which he is best known. Free Rein will prove indispensable for students of Breton, surrealism, and modern French and European culture. Michel Parmentier is a professor of French at Bishop's University, Quibec. He is the author of Mise au point and Regards contemporains: Textes d'actualiti quibicoise. He is coauthor with Jacqueline d'Amboise of Second Regards, Ricits ricents, and Nouvelles nouvelles: Fictions du Quibec contemporain. Jacqueline d'Amboise is an independent poet and translator. She is the author of Mother Myths, a book of poems.
