Doar că Dorin Popescu, autorul cărţii, deşi absolvent de studii filologice, nu e numai ceea ce se numeşte îndeobşte prin literat; pe de altă parte, din confruntarea cu exerciţiul exegetic nici Constantin Noica nu mai iese la fel de încorsetat în tiparele prejudecăţilor.
