Weaving together the great ideas of science, The Reality Frame takes us on a thrilling journey from empty space all the way to the human mind. Acclaimed science writer Brian Clegg builds up reality piece by piece, from space, to time, to matter, movement, the fundamental forces, life, and the massive transformation that life itself has wrought on the natural world. He reveals that underlying it all is not, as we might believe, a system of immovable absolutes, but the ever-shifting, amorphous world of relativity. From religion to philosophy, humanity has traditionally sought out absolutes to explain the world around us, but as science has developed, relativity has swept away many of these certainties, leaving only a handful of unchangeable essentials – such as absolute zero, nothingness, light – leading to better science and a new understanding of the essence of being human. This is an Ascent of Man for the 21st century, the gripping story of modern science that will fill you with wonder and give you a new insight into our place in the universe.

Durham and Purrington approach the history of the universe by exploring the frontiers of physics, while maintaining a long-standing interest in astronomy and cosmology. They stress that man can not fully understand himself until he understands the universe, of which he is a part.

Modern physics has revealed the universe as a much stranger place than we could have imagined. The puzzle at the centre of our knowledge of the universe is time. Michael Lockwood takes the reader on a fascinating journey into the nature of things. He investigates philosophical questions about past, present, and future, our experience of time, and the possibility of time travel. And he provides the most careful, lively, and up-to-date introduction to the physics of time and the structure of the universe. He guides us step by step through relativity theory and quantum physics, introducing and explaining the ground-breaking ideas of Newton and Boltzmann, Einstein and Schroedinger, Penrose and Hawking. We zoom in on the behaviour of molecules and atoms, and pull back to survey the expansion of the universe. We learn about entropy and gravity, black holes and wormholes, about how it all began and where we are all headed. Lockwood's aim is not just to boggle the mind but to lead us towards an understanding of the science and philosophy. Things will never seem the same again after a voyage through The Labyrinth of Time.

Most scientists realize the shortcomings of current physics theory which do not adequately define time or gravity. A new unified & more complete theory of the universe is the subject of this book. The law of conservation of the total energy of the universe is expressed by a simple modification of Kepler's equation or the pendulum equation which defines MASS-ENERGY, SPACE-TIME, the ELECTROMAGNETIC & GRAVITATIONAL FIELD, CENTRIFUGAL FORCE & THE PHOTON. This treatise, a 45 lecture series, also explains (1) The Thomas Young two slit diffraction pattern by defining the particle & wave nature of the photon. (2) Why the ocean tides do not conform with current theories of gravitation. The low ocean tide (not the high tide) occurs under the full moon, etc. Contact: New Allen Goodrich Ent., Inc., 1620 Grover Rd., East Aurora, NY 14052-9721.

Accelerating Universe And Its Structure written by MR Sebastian Aloysius a and has been published by CreateSpace this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-12-29 with Science categories.

In this book I am trying to explain the structure of expanding universe on my point of view. The acceleration on its expansion and the roll of relativity during the acceleration of universe. Trying to explain about the gravity and the gravitational frame of universe. Also discussing about the dark energy and its importance to the accelerating universe and the gravitational frame.According to me the dark energy (negative vacuum) is absorbing from the empty space during the expansion of universe and to the frame and then center of the frame. So concentrated in the center of the universe. The force produced by the big bang is carrying the positive energy and the positive energy is creating a uniform gravitational frame for the expanding universe. All the present positive energy is contributing its gravitational potential field to the frame. Universe is absorbing negative vacuum energy into it once it is occupying the empty space. This absorbed vacuum energy will be pulled to the center of the universe. It will create a negative pressure inside the gravitational frame of the universe. It will cause the increase of volume of the gravitational frame of universe. Due to the increase of the volume of the frame the gravitational force between the positive matters inside the frame will decrease. It will allow them to move away each other. This is a new thought. Here I am trying to explain the gravity and the origin of mass in my view. I am not a scientist or researcher; I am just an observer of my surroundings and trying to find some solutions. My experiences are only reading articles on internet sites. Here I wants to open my thoughts for the world. So I did this.......................... Aloysius Sebastian

Light In Einstein S Universe written by R. Prokhovnik and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-06 with Science categories.

The tremendous progress in astronomical observations over the past sixty years has revealed a vast structured universe whose fundamental parti cles are galaxies, and clusters thereof. The interpretation of the new astronomical evidence owes much to Einstein's insights and deductions. All our knowledge of the world derives from the light, more generally the energy, which reaches us from near and far. Einstein recognised the vital role of energy as the solE~ basis of our information about the workings of nature; his Special Theory of Relativity showed how our understanding of space and time Is linked with measurements involving reflecting light signals. He further demonstrated that matter exists in two interchangeable forms - a mass form and an energy form - which interact closely at all levels. His General Theory of Relativity dealt with the nature of this interaction in the context of gravitational fields, and led to a view of the universe which was soon observationally confirmed. Einstein's methods and results form the theoretical basis of modern cosmology which has spawned many 'models' of the universe; how ever, they all deal with an Einstein-type universe and they all employ his geometric approach to describe it.
