Long before I ever developed an intimate relationship with God, he spoke to me about his love and His desire to see me come out of darkness by acknowledging the problems with my life style choices. Before I ever read about His love in Scripture, God spoke words to me internally. It was His love that allowed me to develop a spiritual foundation and union with Him. Embracing His unselfish love, my unworthy soul was able to confront an irresponsible and destructive path influenced by the power of drug use and sexual sin that distorted my vision and direction. During my storm, he made it clear to me that His love for me would never cease as there was nothing that He wouldn't do for me. He assured me that He would always be with me, never turning back on His words. When I was sick, He healed me. When I continued to make wrong decisions by placing myself in situations that I had no business in, he got me out of them. In times of virtual hell with the devil laying in both arms, an unchanging, forgiving god stayed right with me. As I began my metamorphosis, developing a purely spiritual relationship I always remembered His Words, I'll never leave you nor forsake you. Over my years of temporary fulfillment from within a variety of sinful acts, I know the only way I got out of those situations was by the grace of God.

Ask Him to give you patience, and He may teach you through experiences you'd rather not tolerate. Ask Him to use you, and He may send you to places (physically, spiritually and emotionally) that you hadn't considered. When Delaware swine farmer Bill Sammons, Sr. dedicated his life to the Lord and vowed to serve and follow Him, he didn't know that would mean giving up his job, his family, his savings account, and everything else he had become accustomed to. From the Pig Pen to the Pulpit is the story of his journey. From the farm in Milton, Delaware, to the Bible training center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then churches and homes across America and even into several foreign countries--this is one man's story of how God is more interested in our willingness to serve than He is our perceived gifts and abilities. If you're feeling intimidated by the Call on your life and don't think you are capable, From the Pig Pen to the Pulpit will help you learn that 99% of the battle is making yourself available. Bill Sammons, Sr. grew up in Milton, Delaware, and thoroughly enjoyed his life as a husband, father, and hog farmer. But God didn't want him to stay on the farm. From the Pigpen to the Pulpit recounts Bill's conversion, his decision to leave the farm and move to Tulsa for Bible School, and his faith-building journey as he founded Eagle's Nest Ministries, an organization that touches thousands of lives every day in Southern Delaware.

When Gods Word is hid in our heart, it makes it hard for the devil to wage war in our minds. A Word-filled heart will empower hands to do right, eyes to see right, feet to walk right, ears to hear right, and minds to think right. The heart is the dressing room for words and emotions, which in turn are acted out on the stage of life. Dr. Clarence Talley, Sr. offers these golden nuggets of wisdom to those who are seeking the truth that can only be found in Gods Word. Talley contends that life must be faced with a power that is beyond anything man possesses. That power is found only in Gods Word. It is His wisdom personified in Jesus Christ that safeguards us from the wiles of the devil. Without wisdom we cannot handle life. Life will handle us. It will beat us up. It will push us over. It will subdue our efforts. As a result, we need Godly wisdom: wisdom to understand ourselves, wisdom to build better families, wisdom to get along with others, wisdom to handle our personal finances, wisdom to handle emotional ups and downs, and wisdom to live holy lives. Between the following pages lie golden nuggets of wisdom that will benefit the soul, spirit, and body. Access them, download them, and put them to use. Golden nuggets of wisdom

Bully In The Pulpit is the story of Billy Ray Sinclair, a 19 year old boy living in rural western Arkansas in the depression years. He and his dysfuctional family are mired in the throes of poverty and despair and he wants out, but he has no money and little education. He decides to seek his fortune in the 'moonshine' whiskey business and manages to get a job with the local bootlegger in hopes of learning the trade. But, alas, his plan gets him nowhere and he winds up in worse shape than before. About this time, he meets and falls 'head over heels' in love with Miranda Weeks, a 16 year old beauty, the first 'encounter' for both of them. His awkward and inept attempts to court Miranda turns into one fiasco after another and he sees no way to ever get the girl's attention. Meanwhile, a rogue, itenerate preacher comes to the little community and has taken complete control, terrorizing the poor sharecroppers, taking whatever he wants and bullying the local farmers into submission. Their vain and ill-conceived attempts to make the preacher leave, result in some unbelievable and bungled scenerios, none of which succed. The preacher eventually crosses Billy Ray's path and a showdown is inevitable. But how can he stand up to this super madman? Will the rogue preacher continue to have his way? Who will ever be able to subdue this self proclaimed 'Man of God'? Will justice ever be served? Perhaps. Perhaps not.
