Darin beinhaltet ist der adäquate Umgang mit trans*identen Schüler*Innen und die zu überwindenden Herausforderungen. Deshalb bezieht sich die Forschungsfrage dieser Bachelorarbeit darauf, welche Funktion die Soziale Arbeit im Sinne einer gendersensiblen und bewusstseinsbildenden Profession im Arbeitsfeld der Schule übernehmen kann. Welche Anforderungen werden an die präventive Methodik mit trans*identen Kindern und Jugendlichen gestellt? Die Autorin hat dieses Thema gewählt, da ihrer Meinung nach geschlechter- und vielfaltsbewusste Schulsozialarbeit ein unumgängliches und wichtiges Thema darstellt. Die Bildung einer persönlichen Identität und die damit verbundene Selbstfindungsphase sind relevante Abschnitte des Kinder- und Jugendalters und verlaufen somit parallel zum schulischen Alltag. Eine genderbewusste Schulsozialarbeit steht vor der Aufgabe, sich den Bedürfnissen nicht heteronormativer Schüler*Innen anzunehmen. Strukturell ist der folgende Text aufgeteilt, sodass im ersten Teil theoretische Grundlagen geschaffen werden. Dies beinhaltet Definitionen und wissenschaftliche Theorien. Anschließend findet eine praktische Verifizierung mit Statistiken, Studien sowie einem Interview zum Schwerpunkt der Aufklärung an Schulen statt. Der letzte Abschnitt des Hauptteils beinhaltet die Möglichkeiten der methodischen Umsetzung von Genderkompetenzen und zugleich die Bedeutung von Gender in der Schulsozialarbeit. Die Erkenntnisse der einzelnen Teilabschnitte werden im Schlussteil zusammengebracht, und zurückführend wird die Perspektive für eine genderbewusste Schulsozialarbeit verdeutlicht. Die Situation trans*identer Klient*Innen soll erläuternd betrachtet werden.
