Schließlich werden in der Nietzsche-Rezeption Held und Genie verschmolzen und mit ihm selbst, dem angeblich tragisch denkenden und tragisch lebenden Denker Friedrich Nietzsche, umstandslos identifiziert. Sich von Nietzsche-Heroisierungen frei zu machen, war in jüngerer Zeit ein mitunter schmerzlicher Prozess, den die kritische Forschung zu durchlaufen hatte

Nietzsche, Biology and Metaphor explores the German philosopher's response to the intellectual debates sparked by the publication of Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species.
