Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Pädagogische Soziologie, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln (Institut für vergleichende Bildungsforschung und Sozialwissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Jugendkulturen und Jugendszenen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit soll der Einfluss des Hiphop als eine der „dominantesten, erfolgreichsten und folgenreichsten Popkulturen“ im Hinblick auf die Identitätsbildung von Jugendlichen untersucht werden. Von übergeordnetem Interesse ist dabei zunächst die Frage nach den im Hiphop enthaltenen Repräsentationen von Männlichkeit und Weiblichkeit. Im weiteren Verlauf wird danach gefragt, welche Auswirkungen die im Hiphop dargestellten Geschlechterrollen auf die Identitätskonstruktionen Jugendlicher haben können. Vor diesem Hintergrund soll insbesondere auch auf zwei grundlegende kritische Perzeptionen der repräsentierten Geschlechterrollen eingegangen werden: Nämlich der Überrepräsentation des Männlichen einerseits und einer gleichzeitigen Herabwürdigung und auf sexuelle Merkmale reduzierte Darstellung der Frau. Insbesondere wird Letzteres aus medienpädagogischer Sicht als jugendgefährdend eingestuft. Entsprechend soll im Anschluss erörtert werden, inwiefern Hiphop als Jugendkultur einen negativen Einfluss auf die Identitätsbildung von Jugendlichen haben kann. Den Beginn dieser Arbeit bildet die theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Terminus Jugend und der Problematik einer Eingrenzung des Jugendbegriffs. Im weiteren Verlauf wird auf die Identitätsbildung Jugendlicher in der Postmoderne eingegangen. In diesem Zusammenhang wird insbesondere auf die Relevanz von Jugendkulturen und –Szenen eingegangen. Im Anschluss wird der Hiphop als spezifische Jugendkultur in den Fokus gerückt. Nach einem kurzen Abriss über die Entstehungsbedingungen wird auf die zentralen Elemente und das thematische Spektrum dieser Popkultur eingegangen. Daran anknüpfend wird auf die im Hiphop enthaltenen Repräsentationen von Weiblichkeit und Männlichkeit eingegangen. Zuletzt soll diskutiert werden, inwieweit die dargestellten Geschlechterrollen sich als jugendgefährdend erweisen und sich eine Zensur gewisser Hiphop-Texte empfiehlt, oder aber, welche positiven Impulse Hiphop für die Identitätsbildung von Jugendlichen bieten kann.

Evolutionary aesthetics is the attempt to understand the aesthetic judgement of human beings and their spontaneous distinction between "beauty" and "ugliness" as a biologically adapted ability to make important decisions in life. The hypothesis is - both in the area of "natural beauty" and in sexuality, with regard to landscape preferences, but also in the area of "artificial beauty" (i.e. in art and design) - that beauty opens up fitness opportunities, while ugliness holds fitness risks. Queer Tracks describes motifs in popular music that deviate from heterosexual orientation, the binary gender system and fixed identities.
