RESUMEN: Los ecosistemas tecnológicos son la evolución de los sistemas de información tradicionales; se trata de soluciones basadas en la integración mediante flujos de información de diversos componentes software cuyo objetivo es proporcionar un conjunto de servicios que cada componente por separado no ofrece, así como mejorar la experiencia de los usuarios, quienes se consideran un componente más dentro del ecosistema. Los componentes software que forman el ecosistema pueden ser software a medida, propietario o, en el caso de la propuesta que se plantea, Open Source. A pesar de las ventajas que ofrecen los ecosistemas tecnológicos, el desarrollo de este tipo de soluciones tiene una mayor complejidad que los sistemas de información tradicionales. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la propuesta desarrollada para la mejora de los procesos de definición y desarrollo de ecosistemas tecnológicos para la gestión del conocimiento abierto, con especial hincapié en el uso de repositorios como elemento fundamental para gestionar el conocimiento y los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje dentro de instituciones, así como darle visibilidad y compartirlo de forma abierta. ABSTRACT: The technological ecosystems are the evolution of traditional information systems; these are solutions based on the integration through information flows of different software components whose goal is to provide a set of services that each component separately does not offer, as well as to improve the user experience, considering them an additional component within the technological ecosystem. The software components that make up the ecosystem can be bespoke software, proprietary or, in the case of the proposal that arises, Open Source. In spite of the advantages offered by technological ecosystems, the development of such solutions has a greater complexity than traditional information systems. The aim of this work is to present the proposal developed for the improvement of the definition and development processes of technological ecosystems for the management of open knowledge, with special emphasis on the use of repositories as a key element to manage knowledge and teaching-learning processes within institutions, as well as giving visibility and open sharing. Las entidades financiadoras de la investigación potencian el conocimiento abierto como el medio definitivo para el avance de la ciencia. El acceso abierto se concibe como un ecosistema donde la investigación se organiza a partir de diferentes elementos que interactúan entre sí, formando partes de un todo. Este libro refleja de manera determinante las diferentes facetas de la ciencia abierta, ya que en el desarrollo del acceso abierto intervienen agentes humanos, semánticos, tecnológicos y operativos. La monografía Ecosistemas del Conocimiento Abierto reúne colaboraciones de autoras y autores de universidades y centros de investigación de España y América Latina en torno a los distintos ámbitos del acceso abierto, que se han estructurado en sucesivos bloques temáticos: entorno, investigación, servicio, innovación y desarrollo. La obra resulta útil para conocer las bases teóricas del conocimiento abierto, así como su estado de la cuestión, pero también sirve de referencia para informarse sobre proyectos de éxito, soluciones tecnológicas adoptadas por universidades en sus plataformas de ciencia abierta y reflexiones sobre políticas, tecnologías, procedimientos y administración de datos abiertos, repositorios institucionales, investigación participativa o políticas científicas de «open science», «open knowledge» y «open access».
