He has taken away the very nature of sin because he intended for us to live in a world that is free from sin. So that you and I can be happy. It is sin that causes us to be unhappy, dissatisfied with ourselves, and with others. It does not matter how much money we have or how many Grammys you have won. Without Jesus Christ in your life, you will never reach the full potential of true happiness. The image of God and the perfect man is a nation of people within a nation. The nation of Jesus Christ, where you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

The Bible teaches that God is perfectly holy. It teaches that God, because of His perfection and His justice, cannot fellowship with anyone who is not as perfectly righteous as He is. Can anybody be saved then? Yes, through the imputed righteousness of God Himself revealed in the Gospel. Without this righteousness, which no human being can produce in their own character and conduct, there is no fellowship between God and man. God must hate all which is contrary to His nature. Hell is a place of the unmitigated rage of God, as the Bible teaches, and nobody goes there who is loved by God. Every single person who goes to Hell will pay for every single sin they ever committed in thought, word, and deed, and every person who goes to Heaven is a person whose sins were punished in Jesus Christ at the cross. Christians are people who are seen as perfectly blameless in God's sight, not because of their own character and conduct, but because the righteousness of Christ is imputed to their account. Christians are those whose lives are no longer characterized by habitual sin, not in order that they might gain or maintain their salvation, but as an inevitable fruit of their regeneration. God hates sin so much that He poured out His wrath on His own Son for the sins of sinners. God's justice and God's holiness demanded this in order that anyone should enter Heaven.
